Hey Sellers! Can you believe March is already wrapping up?

This month some of our amazing Community Managers @Seller_l7Jtck9jxnEA0, @Seller_8hQgfj6OVZYse, @Seller_zukQNO61PzGck and @Seller_GEZPMc4CeQfh6 have focused on bringing you knowledge about listing optimization, inventory management, and product compliance. Additionally they celebrated International Women's Day and St. Patrick's Day! There was even a new feature added to the Seller Forums this month!

With the anticipation rising, let's take a peek at all the amazing content you might have missed.

Create and Manage Listings 📊

In the Create and Manage Listings category, we talked about selling applications, some of our listing features/reports and even played a little trivia.

Community Connections 🤝

In the Community Connections category, we celebrated our sellers from shouting out our Woman owned businesses to reaching out to our books sellers for a chat about meeting authors. We also launched a new feature on the forums which allows sellers to follow one another (including Community Managers).

Product Safety and Compliance 🛡️

In the Product Safety and Compliance category, we continued our “Thinking about Selling” series where we shared with you the current dietary supplement compliance expectations and highlighted what to know before selling software both physical and digital on Amazon.

Wow, what a month it's been! I am out of breath. 😅

March has been packed with seller tips, tricks, and celebrations! Don't worry if you missed any of these golden nuggets. You can follow and save all of these discussions for future reference with the Follow discussion button on each post that launched last month.

Thanks for stopping by the Seller Forums! We hope to see you around again soon! 🌼 ~ Sincerely, Cooper_Amazon

P.S. Did you catch all these discussions? Which one was your favorite? Let us know in the comments!

I was exploring how to close just one of the marketplaces (specifically Canada) and selected the option: "Request account closure in one of the stores in a unified account." After clicking "Next," I received the following message:

We’ve received your request to close your account in one of the marketplaces. Unfortunately, account closure will close the account in all the marketplaces. If you do not wish to continue selling on one of the marketplaces, you can choose to put the account in vacation status. For more information, please refer to the Help Page: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/200135620

I immediately contacted Seller Support, and they told me via chat that the request didn’t actually go through—because they cannot close just one marketplace in a unified account.

Can someone please confirm this? We definitely do not want to close all accounts—just wanted to close the Canada marketplace, if that's possible.

Need Help with A to Z claim denied appeal
by Seller_ZT9ohUk1EP5x2

HELP I need someone from Amazon to assist.

Customer claimed non-receipt & requested a refund through A to Z claim.

I had purchased Amazon shipping. Tracker indicates package was delivered. A to Z claim indicates seller funded refund and my odr is impacted.

Package was shipped on time, delivered by Amazon delivery. I had filed an A to Z appeal, dont understand why it was denied. The claim should be funded by Amazon and my odr shouln't have been impacted.

Ring in Poly Bag, what is the smallest label used
by Seller_84QOOwkYQHKsl

The poly bag will have 1 ring. It will be a small bag. Is it ok to use a label 1.5 inx1.18 in? Is that too small?

After I chose to purchase delivery, the buyer's contact number on the printed shipping note was inconsistent with the contact number in my order details.

@Seller_l7Jtck9jxnEA0@Seller_8hQgfj6OVZYse@Seller_zukQNO61PzGck@Seller_GEZPMc4CeQfh6 @Seller_RsATYbG9XP0HP

My shipment THEFT levels at Amazon have reached new heights.

FBA18TYKV7BX is my 20th shipment to have suffered losses in 36 months, totaling at least 1059 units LOST/STOLEN, of which 10 shipments and over 700 units were stolen in the last 10 months alone.

It also takes 8-10 weeks to just receive product, this before I can address the theft and that is a 2-4 week process in of itself. So, I am looking at 2 1/2 to 3 months to get my product into inventory. That which doesn't get stolen, that is. This is just simply unbelievable.

Its getting worse as time progresses. What product eventually gets through is used for back orders, my PDP bounces back-n-forth on a daily basis from shipments taking up to 3 weeks, "1 or 5 left in stock" before quickly becoming "Currently Unavailable", or Unsearchable altogether. This has now become the cycle I am tied into and it is literally killing my business.

Of my last 2 shipments of 150 units each, 152 are missing/lost/stolen, its mind-boggling! As a result, I have ZERO inventory. I have 2 shipment totaling 500 unit en route as I write, but based on current experience, it will take 8-10 weeks before they are received and there is no guarantee that the quanity that makes it through will keep my PDP up for more than a week... and then the cycle starts again

There is an obvious pattern here. I continually reach out to support and get none. My tickets are either ignored entirely, responded with script generated responses that have absolutely nothing with my issue and concern. If I ever get the option to phone someone, I am either hung up on, transferred into oblivion, or told any number of stories about someone calling me back - who never, ever does.

The simple fact of the matter is it's self-evident that what is happening is bordering on criminal activity. This activity is apparently going on unchecked at Amazon facilities and transcends any internal policies by breaking the law

I AM DESPERATE - I NEED TO SPEAK TO SOMEONE IN AUTHORITY.

SELLER RESERVES
by Seller_gKR2famxYv2qF

IS ANYONE HAVING RESERVES TRICKLE DOWN TO ZERO? i AM A NEW SELLER AND THE RESERVES FOR THE SECOND PAY PERIOD ARE HIGHER THAN FOR OUR FIRST PAY PERIOD. WAS TOLD BY MY MARKETING COMPANY THAT ALL THEIR CLIENTS HAD RESERVES TAKEN BUT THEY TRICKLED DOWN TO ZERO.

I WOULD APPRECIATE ANY FEEDBACK ON WHETHER RESERVES DO OR DO NOT GO AWAY AND IF SO, HOW MANY PAY PERIODS DOES IT TAKE?

I'm residing in Spain - DAC7
by Seller_TOYp0fmYPgx1m

Dear Amazon Seller Community,

I am resident in Spain, and I am creating an LLC in USA with which I am going to operate in Amazon.com

I do not want to have problems complying with the DAC7, my question is: in addition to having the LLC in USA, I have to be self-employed or SL company in Spain ?

Thanks so much.

I have many asin's that are SFP with 1-2 day delivery, and the shipping template is set to ship the same day.

The PDP says "usually ships within 2 to 3 weeks" right underneath "Prime ONE-DAY delivery TOMORROW"

This is very confusing and misleading to customers.

This displays on many of my SFP listing, sometimes says "ships within 2 to 3 days" or "4 to 5 days" and so on, even though they ALL use the same shipping template and ALL offer 1-2 day delivery.

NOTE: Many of my listings had the Custom manual exempt handling time until passing and qualifying for SFP at Christmas (at which point the listings became SFP and have been SFP since Christmas). It seems as if the manual exemption handling time is still hanging around in the system instead of letting SFP completely "take over" all the shipping/delivery elements that SFP is supposed to control on the PDP.

I have Case ID 17477701811, and as usual I received a completely irrelevant response talking about promise delivery extensions 🤦‍♀️ That is clearly NOT the issue here, whatsoever.

Letter of Authorization - Essential Elements
by Seller_TeK7HYTK7PiOb
Amazon replied

We are a reseller of a few dozen brands in our industry. Virtually all suppliers in our industry have no presence on Amazon and no desire to deal with Amazon. Most do not have Brand Registry but they are willing to supply Letters of Authorization to their various resellers.

I am dealing directly with the company/brand owners who we have worked with for years and they are generally happy to provide us an LOA. My question is, what essential elements should be included? Can the LOA provide blanket authorization for all products under that brand or do specific ASINs need to be listed? Is the following sufficient:

"XYZ Brands authorizes [SELLER] to sell all XYZ brand products on Amazon.com"

What elements should be included?

Merchant ID?

Our full business address and contact information?

Our EIN?

Is a specific term needed, and can it be backdated?

Are these 5 elements @Seller_zukQNO61PzGck posted required for an LOA?

https://sellercentral.amazon.com/seller-forums/discussions/t/8a170817-8e58-4c13-99e9-27827beb1931

* The five key terms which must be present in every IP licensing agreement (LOA) submitted to Amazon are:

'Licensor'–The company/brand providing the rights to intellectual property

'Licensee'–The company/brand receiving the rights to use the intellectual property.

'Grant’–The intellectual property being licensed and the scope of rights granted

'Geographic Scope’–The specific territory or territories where use is authorized (may be worldwide)

'Term’–The duration of the authorization (may be perpetual)

If I can provide them a template they just copy onto their company letterhead it would be ideal as they don't want to deal with Amazon, they just want their resellers like us to keep purchasing from them.
