Listing Lounge: Tackling No Featured Offer Available Challenges

Hello Sellers! Have you ever noticed your Amazon listings Featured Offer status is showing as ineligible ❌?

For today’s Listing Lounge discussion, we are going to discuss what the offer status showing as 'ineligible' ❌ means and how you can address it.

In order to understand your listing's Featured Offer status, we first need to know what the Featured Offer is.

What's a Featured Offer?

The Featured Offer appears as the main "Add to Cart" and "Buy Now" buttons that customers see on a product detail page. When your offer becomes the Featured Offer, customers can purchase your items directly through these buttons.

First Things First: The Basic Requirements

Before diving into strategies, let's make sure you've got the foundations covered. To be eligible, you'll need:

  • A Professional selling account
  • Products in new condition
  • Competitive pricing that matches or beats major retailers outside Amazon

Now that the basics are covered, you may be wondering what else can you do to make your listings Featured Offer Eligible.

Smart Pricing and Fulfillment

Your pricing and fulfillment strategy can affect your Featured Offer eligibility:

  • Maintaining competitive prices
  • Using Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) to offer Prime shipping
  • If you're self-fulfilling, optimizing your shipping settings in Seller Central

Stay on Top of Inventory

Keeping items in stock helps maintain Featured Offer eligibility:

  • Maintaining healthy stock levels
  • Keeping your inventory counts accurate
  • Planning ahead for your busy seasons

Watch Those Performance Metrics

Your account health plays a big role. Here are the key numbers to maintain:

  • Order Defect Rate should stay under 1%
  • Late Shipment Rate needs to be below 4%
  • Cancellation Rate must be under 2.5%
  • Valid Tracking Rate should exceed 95%

Want to keep track on your Featured Offer Eligibility statutes? We have a tool that could help.

Start by enabling the Featured Offer Eligible column in your inventory management view:

  1. Head to Manage All Inventory
  2. Click on Preferences
  3. Check the Featured Offer box
  4. Save your changes

The Pricing Health dashboard can help you monitor your competitive pricing and performance metrics.

Remember... Amazon evaluates Featured Offer eligibility based on multiple factors to ensure customers have a great shopping experience. If your listings aren't currently eligible, focusing on the areas above can help improve your eligibility status.
