Hi Sellers,

We're wondering if there would be interest in "just for fun" or more casual conversational threads, within the Seller Forums? We know that sellers share tips and tricks on how to navigate Amazon, but this could be things like:

  • Introductions and getting to know each other
  • Discussing hobbies, interests, or entrepreneurship tips
  • Crowd-sourcing ideas or opinions on non-Amazon related topics

We want to gauge the community's thoughts, a few questions for you:

  • Do you want to have just for fun topics in the Forums?
  • Do you feel like there is a place for you to do this now? If not, what would be your recommendations?
  • Would you have these conversations more often if there was a place for this?
  • What kind of topics would you post/like to post?

Please share your feedback! We're looking to understand the community's interests and needs in this area. Your input is always integral to considerations about changes and enhancements

We sell thousands of Funko branded products every day and out of the blue 5 minutes ago we get this email. Never had any issues with Funko products besides the occasional authenticity complaint, which we are able to get taken care of relatively easy because we have verifiable invoices from suppliers. We have an amazing track record with Funko and our supply chain is fine, so I am not sure where this has come from. There is no where for me to request approval and we are hard gated with a red restricted sign on the app. Any help would be appreciated.

To ensure a safe and trustworthy shopping experience, we have implemented additional qualifications to sell FUNKO products. Specifically, at this time, only domestic sellers with track record of steady sales and inventory supply from reputable and verifiable suppliers are eligible to list FUNKO products. Since we do not currently have enough information about your supply chain to confirm that you meet these criteria, we are removing your ability to list FUNKO products on Amazon.com.

As a result, effective 2024-10-29, your existing FUNKO listings will be removed and you will not be able to list new FUNKO products. This action does not impact your account health and you are still eligible to list other products on Amazon.com. We appreciate your understanding as we work to keep our store safe for customers.

How can I reinstate my listings?

We are not currently accepting applications to sell FUNKO products, but this may change in the future. If your account becomes eligible to sell this product, you will see "Request Approval" next to the product in the "Add a Product" feature in Seller Central. At that time, you may be asked to provide more information about your business and supply chain to confirm it meets our listing criteria.

I think there has been a mistake because I do not sell FUNKO branded products. What should I do?

If you believe your listings have been removed in error because you don’t sell FUNKO branded products, please contact Selling Partner Support with evidence, such as product pictures and invoices, that clearly specify the brand and product information for your products. Amazon will review your claim and make a final determination that will ensure the best shopping experience for our customers."

Support Case: 16575235641

Problem: I uploaded an inventory file for the US marketplace and Amazon sent back an error summary (which is an Excel file in .xlsm format) saying there was an error because my product variation uses the term "color" but Amazon is now only accepting the British spelling of "colour".

I regretfully opened a seller support case for this idiocy.

Support asked me for my batch file number - I provided it. 178625020026

Support then said they could not find the batch file, so they asked me to upload Amazon's own file summary showing the error.

But when trying to upload Amazon's own .xlsm file I get an error message that support does not support that file format.

So I email it to seller support using the email address they use - and get the message it cannot accept incoming email.

Sigh.

So maybe a moderator can figure this out ...

1 - Fix Amazon error that product variations based on "color" to the US Marketplace are invalid and we now need to know British spelling of "colour" and who knows what else some well-meaning idiot changed.

2 - Figure out why support cannot find inventory batch files

3- Fix why support cannot receive a file they request - either via upload or email.

This has happened on 2 orders in the past 2 weeks. I ship on time, buying postage through Amazon. After 2 days in transit, USPS scans "possible delivery delay" and then delivers the package a day late. OBVIOUSLY the delay was caused by USPS, they even state it! How can I control this??

I went into live chat thinking it would quickly by fixed but they say that it requires an internal specialist and they'll have to get back to me. what? This seems like a pretty simple thing once you see the USPS scan for yourself.

CHECK ALL YOUR LATE PACKAGES!!! I don't know if it's the hurricane damage or what, but you probably have late packages that the carrier admits is their fault, but Amazon is punishing YOU for it!

This is ridiculous.

As both a buyer and seller on Amazon, I've been dealing with their support nearly every day lately, and it’s been a nightmare.

As a seller, I reached out with a simple question about my account—just trying to understand what they needed from me. I ended up talking to 30 representatives, and guess what? Only three of them could even answer part of my question. I felt like I was being passed around without anyone actually wanting to help.

Then, as a buyer, I noticed some random charges on my account and tried to get an explanation. I went through four reps, and it was a comedy of errors: one kept transferring me to others, one told me to call a different number, and another had a “system problem” and asked me to hang up because she couldn’t search anything on her computer!

Amazon, with your resources and size, I expect so much better than this runaround. We’re talking about basic service here, not rocket science. I know I’m not the only one who’s frustrated—this is something Amazon needs to fix, fast.

What's your go-to Halloween movie to watch this time of year? Any classic Halloween movies you always rewatch? Which movies give you the most chills?

Aside from the classics which include The Shining, Exorcist, and Children of the Corn, I have really enjoyed Hereditary. The film follows a grieving family tormented by sinister occurrences after the death of their secretive grandmother. My next one would have to be Smile. It is chilling, unnerving, and very difficult to watch sometimes, hence making it a great Halloween movie.
