Restricted Products - why Amazon punishes resellers for not even creating but for joining listings in Amazon's own catalog that might, at some unspecified later time and for whatever reason, develop into a big problem.
This is our #1 issue. We have just recently been reinstated after being down for 5 months. We lost hundreds of thousands of dollars in revenue and we might not actually be able to dig ourselves out from being in the red.
Meanwhile, the other large marketplace does this:
"You can remain focused on your business. To protect you, we removed listings that didn't follow this policy. - We have credited any associated fees, except for transaction fees for your sold listing(s).
Other than what was communicated to you previously, no additional action is required from you and no further actions are being placed on your account."
Add a product-
Could the desktop version of add a product be made a clean and simple as the app version?
The app is so, to the point to list a new product.
Basically four lines:
SKU, Price, Quantity, Shipping template
The desktop version of add a product is too full of not needed lines. I have to scroll way to the bottom, select fbm, then scroll way back to the top to find the shipping template in there somewhere. It's just not efficient.
Could the desktop be cleaned up please?
What topic would i like to see discussed about creating listings? How about the ones chinese sellers are making to rip americans off with fake products and you guys are taking no action even with legit reports?
I think that a lot of the issues that many of us are facing would be solved by simply going back to the old methods, rather than waiting until Q4 and forcing on us less functional versions of Add a Product and Manage Inventory pages.
I think that compared to 3-4 years ago (prior to at least 2 "upgrades" to Add a Product), my efficiency in creating listings has dropped by at least 50$. And a box of books going to FBA with Ship to Amazon takes 150+ keystrokes and mouse-clicks; the previous method required 8. Big waste of time with NO benefit to sellers. Add the new versions if you want, but let us keep using the old BETTER versions if we prefer.
