Time to call it quits.

Well, it started on a whim in 2011 while I was finishing a teaching career in Singapore and it will end in 2024, the night before Christmas. Had enough. What started out as a great platform for selling books has morphed into a monstrosity. When I once made between $1500-2000 a month for books for nearly 10 years running, now it's a struggle to reach $200 a month, and it is no longer worth the headache and the ridiculous non-support you get from this site. Never chatted too much with people; friendly sparring with a few old-timers, and some effort to bring levity on occasion. It's just not worth the time for so little return, so I'm wishing everyone else a happy 2025. It would be nice to see a mass exodus from Amazon, and then maybe someone would get the message, but so be it. Now if I can only manage to CLOSE an account without any additional headaches!

Dear Amazon partner, hello!

We have been working hard to ensure all necessary compliance certifications and testing reports are submitted to address any urgent product compliance issues and facilitate timely recovery of our product page, which has been inactive due to this review process.

At the request of the Amazon, we uploaded the CPC certificate, ASTM report, and CPSIA report required by the platform after uploading the product.

But it has been far more than one month since we submitted the certificate and report.

Due to our shipment when the link was available for sale, the product is now displayed as unsellable due to product compliance review, resulting in our product being unsellable upon arrival at Amazon's warehouse.

Our product link is currently unavailable for sale.

We urgently hope that Amazon can review our products as soon as possible. We hope to pass the product compliance review as soon as possible so that we can sell our products.

Hello, I have been selling FBA since July 2024 and have the Buy Box for DVD's. I actually started by sending in CD's and Books. I have been sending inventory to Amazon weekly. Each week I send a box with CD's DVD's and Books. I still do not have the Buy Box for used CD's or books. Is there any way that someone can do a manual review and let me know what may be holding me back? I appreciate any assistance and thank you for your time. With the crazy holiday schedule I have several FBA shipments that are in warehouses waiting, so it might look like I am not sending in orders every week, but I am.

I have been very active with DVD's and have a great record since I received the buy box in DVD's. I hope that bodes well in my efforts for CD's and Books.

I am tagging a few Mods that have helped me or have helped with similar posts. Thank you for any help.

Amazon Sending out Thousands in Refunds?

I was selling a product on Amazon that perfectly followed it's TOS (verified by Amazon Support). Today, they determined that my product is no longer abiding by TOS and is a safety hazard and then they deactived my listing - totally fine since I haven't been selling that product for over 9 months. HOWEVER - they're now refunding all of my sales to customers - and I'm responsible for several thousand in refunds now? I don't get it.

If my product was following Amazon TOS at time of sale, and 9 months later they determine it doesn't - fine delete the listing. But now they're giving out voluntary refunds? Is this legal?

I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to seek your assistance regarding an issue I am facing with a UPC I purchased.

On December 20, 2024, I bought a brand-new UPC from GS1. However, when creating a product, I encountered a conflict with ASIN B09PYPF1VD. I was informed by Customer Service that this ASIN was uploaded in 2022 and is not associated with any product I have created.

My objective is to generate a completely new ASIN for my UPC and not to associate it with the existing ASIN B09PYPF1VD. I would like guidance on how to separate my UPC from this ASIN and generate a new one.

Before posting this request, I reached out to Seller Support multiple times. The first representative advised me to delete the currently associated ASIN from my inventory list and re-upload the information using a template. I followed this advice, but the template upload failed due to an 8541 error, indicating a conflict between the product I tried to upload and ASIN B09PYPF1VD.

I have confirmed that my UPCs are brand new and correctly purchased. Therefore, I would appreciate your assistance in resolving this ASIN conflict and facilitating the creation of a new ASIN for my UPC.

For reference, my Case ID is 16898341061, and the relevant inventory batch numbers are 245729020081 and 246045020082.

Amazon needs an "Account Health" for buyers

It would be great if buyers had an Amazon account health system. I've heard there is one but it's "internal". Make it public and in their face. Educate the buyers that they aren't skimming out on Amazon but actual sellers on the other end.

This could help address issues like false claims of "item delivered late" when it wasn't, or returning items as "not as described" when it's really just buyer's remorse or they want to simply return it. If buyers could see a record of their own questionable return behavior and realize the potential consequences—like their account being flagged or even closed for repeated abuse—it might reduce the number of bogus returns and discourage attempts to get items for free. Such a system would benefit both sellers and the marketplace overall.

This year has been one of the worst, and it seems like I am not alone. I think the biggest one that ticks me off is the "item arrived late" when it clearly was delivered in the promised timeframe window on the order.

Or one that I just got this morning. "Item not received, please refund me". Well luckily this one was shipped with FedEx and they took a photo of the delivery. When I told them on the tracking there is a photo of the delivery, they were quick to change their tune to "Ok, thank you, Merry Christmas".

Suspended without any reason!

Hi,

My Suspended Seller account was reinstated on 19.12.2024 after I provided all required documents, including invoices and supplier details. Since then, I have not listed any new products or made any changes.

However, my account was suspended again on 23.12.2024, and I don’t understand why.

I believe this may be a mistake. Since I haven’t taken any action, I would appreciate clarification on the reason for the suspension. I am happy to cooperate to resolve any issues.
