Lost Inventory During AWD to FBA Transfers
by Seller_Q1jyFGB9ZJE2e

CASE IDs:

16819856091

16819864961

Hello, fellow sellers,

We’re seeking advice or support regarding a frustrating situation with inventory lost during transfers from AWD (Amazon Warehousing and Distribution) to FBA.

Amazon has lost over 250 units of three different SKUs across multiple transfers. While this is frustrating on its own, the process to investigate and resolve these cases has been unnecessarily complex and slow.

First, Amazon required us to provide Proof of Delivery (POD) for these investigations—even though these are auto-replenishment shipments from AWD to FBA that were entirely handled by Amazon. We still complied and submitted the PODs for the AWD shipments, even though this requirement doesn’t make much sense.

Adding to the problem, the timeline for these investigations feels precarious. These shipments are months old, and Amazon doesn’t allow investigations to start until a shipment’s status is closed—a process that often takes a long time. We’re concerned the investigation timelines could close while Amazon is still "investigating," as we’ve had similar issues before. In past cases, Amazon admitted to their own delay mistakes, apologized for the timeline closing, but offered no resolution or reimbursement.

Right now, all we’re hearing back on these cases is that Amazon is “still investigating.” This has been the repeated response, despite us providing all the requested information and documents. We just want to expedite this process and get a resolution.

We’re reaching out for advice on how to expedite this process or escalate the matter to ensure it’s resolved properly.

Thanks in advance for your help!

You don't get to tell me what to charge Amazon.

My prices are normally $16. My sales fell off a cliff on Amazon Handmade last year (Etsy and Makerplace are just fine, so you know it's Amazon Handmade's issue and not my business issue).

I have so much deadweight in FBA that I am trying to get sold because I have so many long term storage fees, so I dropped the prices to $4 just enough to cover fee's and get the items gone from FBA. I've sold about 30 listings this way and since I still have supplies I need to flip them back to FBM.

So I am resetting the listings now to FBM and raising the price back up to the normal $16, and Amazon now is deactivating my listings because of " Marketplace Fair Pricing Policy" What the Fudge amazon. If you didn't ruin Handmade as a viable marketplace, I never even would have had to drop my FBA prices.

This platform is SO UNFRIENDLY to sellers now. You just can't "win" here anymore. No matter what you are trying to do Amazon is here just twisting the knife in any sort of way possible.

Has anyone else had a terrible experience with AWD in the last 3 months?

It always worked fine for me before, but I've had an experience with one SKU that has made me question sending all my stock there:

I managed to get this SKU to new levels of sales in August / September last year, it began driving 50% of my total sales even. And then suddenly, AWD refused to send the stock into FBA. I couldn't get any help for this and after a few weeks, I ran out of stock. The video ads tanked and ranking was lost

I then seemed to fix the issue myself (some new seller used my EAN barcodes), and could start sending AWD stock into FBA as of October. But then? Every single unit sent from AWD to FBA since October, has been lost before it can be put into stock.

Amazon don't seem to understand the problem as I'm getting reimbursed for the lost inventory, they don't seem to care that they're losing money, and my parent listing has tanked in the meantime.

I've sent roughly 7 AWD shipments of this SKU into FBA from October until now, and all had 0 units received. More than 50% of those shipments are still awaiting reimbursement. I've since had more units of this SKU arrive at AWD. I'm pretty sure if I sent it all into FBA they would all go missing and I'd get another huge reimbursement.

I called Amazon and they raised a case to check with the fulfilment centres why these SKUs are magically disappearing when they arrive at FBA - that case ID has been unreplied to for over 2 weeks now.

AWD is destroying my business with Amazon

Assistance Needed with Account Hold after TRO lifted
by Seller_3k3p3RKt8YQfQ

We have had a TRO issued against us, which resulted in a reserve hold on our account disbursements due to legal action taken by a rights owner in U.S. federal court.

The issue has been resolved, and we have reached a settlement with the rights owner. They have also contacted Amazon to confirm that the hold can be removed.

We have provided the settlement agreement and communication from the rights owner under CASE 16956460311, but the hold on our account remains in place.

Could you please assist us in resolving this? Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Action required to Verify Your Seller Account
by Seller_YUgnsazKchWHj
in group

Hello,

I am active seller (no recent sales, though) and active user of Seller Central. The following has happened today roughly in this order:

  1. My Amazon Seller account became inactive, with no advance explanation AFAIK.
  2. I eventually received an email with subject: Action Required - Account Set to Inactive due to Dormancy.
  3. My listings were deactivated.
  4. I received a 2nd email with subject: Action required to Verify Your Seller Account.
  5. A link newly appeared on the Account Info page entitled: Reactivate Account.

When I follow the email instructions by clicking the Reactivate Account, it redirects me to the error page that says my account is inactive. It appears that I am now in an infinite loop; the error page takes me to Account Info, and the Reactivate Account link on the Account Info page takes me to the error page. Does anyone know what might be wrong and/or how to fix? My listings appear to be down, and I have very limited access to Seller Central.

Thanks!

We're updating our product title policy to standardize listings and enhance the shopping experience across our stores.

Over time, we’ve observed that product titles have become longer, and they sometimes include redundant wording or characters that can decrease customer confidence. These new policy changes will help ensure that product titles are clear, concise, and consistent.

The following new requirements will take effect on January 21, 2025:

  • For most product categories, titles may not exceed 200 characters, including spaces.
  • The special characters !, $, ?, _, {, }, ^, ¬, and ¦ are not allowed, unless they are part of the brand name.
  • Titles may not contain the same word more than twice. Prepositions, articles, and conjunctions are exceptions.

If you have titles that do not comply with the requirements listed above, we recommend that you update them.

Starting January 21, all title changes will be subject to the updated policy, and you'll be able to view and fix any non-compliant titles in Manage All Inventory.

Additionally, we'll provide override suggestions for non-compliant titles to brand owners in Review Listing Updates. Brand owners will have 14 days to act upon on the suggestions before we update the titles to comply with our requirements. These suggestions will be rolled out gradually.

Your listings will remain active during this process, and you’ll still be able to make edits to your product titles as long as your changes comply with the new policy.

We'll host an Ask Amazon event on January 8, 2025, during which our experts will answer your questions about title requirements on Amazon Seller Forums.

For more information, including character limits by product category and store, go to Product title requirements and guidelines.

Dear Amazon Support Team and Community Managers,

I am reaching out regarding an issue with my product being incorrectly flagged as Dangerous Goods, which is preventing me from shipping it to AWD storage.

I have already contacted the Chemical Safety Compliance team and provided the Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for my product. They confirmed that my product is not classified as dangerous. For reference, please see Case ID 16856145471.

When I check by ASIN to determine whether the product is classified as dangerous, the result indicates: "This product is not dangerous goods." Additionally, in my AWD inventory, the product is listed as an eligible FBA SKU. However, when I attempt to ship it to AWD storage, I receive the following notification: "This item is considered a dangerous good and is ineligible for upstream storage."

Could you please advise on how I can resolve this discrepancy and make my product eligible for AWD shipping and storage?

Thank you for your assistance.
