🔍 Key Details:

The Brand Registry partner team has been listening to feedback from our sellers and understand that the image guidelines for Brand Registry applications can be challenging to navigate. Because of this, they have updated the Brand Registry Application Guide, a step-by-step guideline that details the enrollment process through self-service registration, to include a new section on product image guidelines.

Post all your questions below! Our partner team will be reviewing the questions that come in throughout the day (as well as those submitted in advance), and we’ll do our best to respond as soon as possible during the day of the event. For this specific event, here’s a list of sample questions you can ask the Brand Registry team:

  • How many photos do have to submit during the Brand Registry application process?
  • I don’t have the product yet with my brand name, could I use a computer generated image for the application?

Given the global nature of these guidelines, we're hosting Ask Amazon events across multiple regions. In addition to this US event, sessions will also be held in the following countries:

  • Spain

All events are scheduled for April 15th, from 8 am - 5 pm local time.

Brand Registry Rejected

Hello,

I submitted a brand registry application that was rejected with the very generic reason of "We were unable to identify proof of your brand entity based on the documents provided." It suggested that I re-read the requirements, which I did, and do not see any issues. Specifically:

1. The registration number of the trademark was provided in the application - this is verifiable in the USPTO database.

2. The filing receipt of the trademark that bears the same registration number as what was entered in the brand registry application - all relevant information in the filing receipt is verifiable in the public record of the trademark registration record in the USPTO database.

3. The owner information in the both the trademark registration and in the filing receipt match the information on my seller account as well as the owner information provided in the brand registry application.

I'm not sure what else they want to identify the brand entity?

FBM 2nd location for same product

I have a warehouse in western united states. I recently started warehousing on the East Coast as well. This is not a drop shipping situation. I have skus with product in both locations. Is there a way to set up a second warehouse and split my inventory levels so that I am able to ship out of either one location or the other?

Wrong Brand Linked in "Manage Your Brands" in SS.

Hi all,

We’re brand registered with active trademarks in both the UK and US.

But under "Manage Your Brands", under our SS account Amazon has linked us to a completely different company that just happens to have the same name. It’s a US-based brand in a different trademark class and not connected to us at all.

Because of this, we can’t update our own product titles in the US, and Brand Registry support hasn’t been able to fix it or even fully understand the issue. I believe this issue has always been like it for 5+years selling, but its only starting to affect us as we launch on Amazon.com things are just not working like stores, if we click on your brand name in our listing, we are directed to someone else's branded store.

We’ve tried everything and are now posting here as a last resort.

If anyone has dealt with something similar or can help, the cases are below, I also made videos to explain the situation which can be seen on the cases.

Seller protection not working for replacements

Customer claimed he received a damaged product. Amazon issued a return label to customer and told me to send a no-charge replacement, which I did. Now 55 days later, customer has not returned the original item.

According to Amazon's own replacement policy, "you’re eligible for an automatic reimbursement if the buyer fails to return the original item to the carrier within 30 days of the replacement order being sent." This text is under "How replacements work" at on Seller Help page: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G9675EJHNZ2ZE3M5

On the Amazon Manage Returns page for this order it shows the return as "Package left the shipper facility" which is untrue. Tracking at the carrier's wesbsite says "UPS doesn’t have possession of the package yet" -- after 55 days.

Trying to file a SAFE-T claim, I get this message: "This order is not eligible for a SAFE-T claim because the original item is in transit. Please contact the carrier directly if you want to file a claim for the shipment."

Amazon forum monitors, please help. Thank you.

Hello, my account is deactivated. I received a letter stating that I need to provide a receipt, a utility bill or a phone number matching the name of the account owner, which I am. I uploaded a document and a receipt many times, but the account is not activated. What else do I need to do to activate it? Please help.

Greetings, two sellers made a false report that two of my listings were inauthentic just to remove me from the listing and they could sell their product, now I have to make a video call to clarify that my products are authentic only because two sellers cannot compete fairly, Amazon should take action in such a situation, please if anyone has any suggestions please let me know I would greatly appreciate it.
