I wanted to reach out and share a few suggestions for when you’re creating a thread and looking for support from moderators or the community.

There are a few things to keep in mind when creating your thread.

  1. kind of help are you’re looking for?
  2. The type of issues did you encounter?
  3. Supporting information.
  4. Limited visibility.

What kind of help are you’re looking for?

There can different forms of support or help that can be provided depending on the situation. These examples include support with: account reactivation, appeal and disputes, broken appeal paths or other technical issues that occur. Can you provide enough information that helps us better understand your situation?

The type of issues did you encounter?

As there are many different types of situations that can occur, we will need more information surrounding what occurred, and how you were impacted. Was this something that impacted a performance calculation, the status of your account, or your listings?

Supporting Information

Supporting information is very crucial for us when we need to better understand your specific situation. This can include performance notifications, ASINs, screenshots, policy violations, case ID, and complaint IDs. This is not an exhaustive list of supporting details but to aid in suggestions for what to provide that would help us in supporting you through your concerns.

As a side note when providing any supporting information. This is a public space and strongly discourage posting any personal information such as emails, phone numbers, addresses, or other personal details. If you need to provide any personal information, please create a case and share your information there, proceed to post your case in your thread so we can see your submission.

Limited visibility

Rarely do we ever hop on these forums, but we were asked for feedback and unbeknownst to us we filled an order for a magazine a week ago and the customer cancelled and we had shipped it same day as the order was placed. Now who's on the hook for this? Thought so! NOT Happy we have to eat this cancellation when it was clearly live and okay to ship when we did! Nuff said! Sincerely, Adamsfamiliesbooks

Notebooks placed into Books category

Hello! Our notebooks are placed automatically into the Books category, and I'm not able to change it. I've also chatted with support, and talked on the phone, and it seems they are not understanding the issue. The breadcrumbs category is correct (office products), but they are still listed as books. Books are charged the variable listing fee, and notebooks are not. My listings are also marked as [saddle_stitch] although I've repeatedly marked them as staple-bound - I don't know where this saddle_stitch is coming from. Can someone jump in to assist? The case ticket is 17416533041.

I have a negative feedback for an item a customer ordered as used, we shipped used, and they expected to be new. yes sent prepaid label and paid for the return. i requested removal but got denied immediately. case id 17397723391

Amazon - please create a way for sellers to dispute shipping adjustments.

The adjustments are getting out of hand, the carrier audited weight and dimensions are exactly the same as the weight and dimensions I entered when buying the label - why are we getting hit with $3 'adjustments' when the weight and dimensions are correct?

Please, Amazon, give us a means to dispute these adjustments, they are getting out of hand lately, eating away at our bottom line!

All sellers who are experiencing the same issue, please thumb up this post and create your own posts about it. Maybe if we flood the forums we will get Amazon's attention and they'll do something about it.

Compliance are repeatedly requesting proof of "FDA Registration" for a Pet dietary supplement, it is NOT a drug.

I have been selling this product since 2016.

This has been going on since August 2024. They just say -

ii. FDA manufacturer facility registration.

I have been asked for a certificate or screenshot but they won't say what they want a screenshot of?

The FDA does not issue Certificates.

FDA Registration numbers for Dietary supplements are confidential and cannot be disclosed or searched.

I have supplied a letter signed by the CEO of the manufacturing facility confirming their registration and supplying the last 4 digits.

They do not provide the full number as advised by the FDA because it can be used to import products into the United States, for which they would be liable.

The manufacturing facility is cGMP registered and I have supplied this certificate to compliance and it has been accepted. The facility is checked for FDA registration before they will issue a GMP certificate.

I have pointed this fact out but they must know this?

What else can I do? - They just won't listen and keep asking for the same thing. I don't want this listing taken down.

Mods please help!

Hello-

We are a comic store who's literal job is selling Marvel Comics and have been doing so for 29 years. We buy from the only official Marvel Distributor, Penguin Random House. We meet all the requirements and provided all documentation but, we declined. Makes no sense at all. When asking why we were declined we don't get an answer. Anyone have any insight as to why?

A customer purchased a product that cost $1,600 and, after 20 days, requested a return. I had no issue with this and guided the customer step-by-step on how to initiate the return through Amazon. However, after the return window expired, the customer reached out again. I explained the process again, but they responded, saying they could no longer request areturn because 30 days had passed. Now, they are asking me to send a prepaid return shipping label via message, claiming the product is not working. My concern is: if I provide the prepaid return label and the customer sends back an item that is not mine, would I still have the right to charge a restocking fee?

Need help regarding insane shipping label adjustments

Hello! I discovered some very large shipping label adjustments yesterday for a 5 package order, totaling over $1000. The reason given for the adjustment is "The shipping services purchased for the package did not match the carrier-reported charge for shipping the package:" the dimensions and weight I entered match what the carrier audited, but i am being charged 8-10x what I originally paid for postage. I've concluded that I am being billed the rates that a consumer would get if they were to purchase postage directly from fedex. I cannot figure out why or figure out how I can reverse the charges. This order was actually delivered almost 3 weeks ago. As always, seller support has been no help, so I turn to you!

These ASIN were taken down because they were misidentified as license plate covers, frames, or spray that blocks or obscures a license plate frame from photo detection. These items are novelty license plates sourced from Smart Blonde. I don't know what items blocks from detection. I don't sell or have ever sold such items. These items were taken down in error. I am asking to remove these marks against my account and reactive these listings.
