Recently I discovered by accident that my account, which had been and still is listed as "healthy," had been deactivated. The reason? "Due to inactivity" as stated in an online banner. I never received any prior warning or email message warning me of this. In short, I was blind-sided.
I was subsequently able to verify my business credit card and regain access to my Seller page, but my book is now listed as "Unavailable" (FALSE) and I cannot reconnect my account to it.
I have tried several ways (email, chat, phone) to reach someone and get a definitive answer regarding what I have to do to reconnect with my book. Each time that I have followed suggested procedures and tried to reactivate it, I've been stymied from being able to complete the action and fulfill what ever mysterious requirement is being mandated. For instance, if I'm required to submit official documents to prove that I am really me, where is that window? None is provided.
I see all of my account information, all correct, and a yellow banner above it telling me that the window refreshes every 30 seconds while they review my documents. I've looked at this same page and message four times in the last five days. Things NEVER progress beyond this point.
I am stuck in Seller Central Purgatory.
