🔍 Key Changes (Effective January 21, 2025):

To improve the customer experience to ensure product titles are clear, concise, and consistent, we are updating our title policy with the following requirements:

  • Titles may not exceed 200 characters, including spaces (for most product categories)
  • The special characters !, $, ?, _, {, }, ^, ¬, and ¦ are not allowed, unless they are part of the brand name.
  • Titles may not contain the same word more than twice (prepositions, articles, and conjunctions are exceptions)

I have a listing that was shut down Amazon is requesting the NDC codes and drug fact label When I send it they say the NDC codes are invalid even though I sent screen shots from the FDA website showing it valid I'm going back and forth with Amazon with no resolution with just repeating the same thing that the NDC codes are not valid even after I keep proving its valid

Any Help on how to get this resolved is greatly apricated

Hello All,

I received an email from Amazon today stating that my information needs to be reverified. I clicked on the provided link, which directed me to the Account Information section in Seller Central. However, I do not see a "Start Verification" link-only a "Reactivate Account" message in red.

When I click on "Reactivate Account," I encounter an error message stating that my account is inactive and that I may need to add a new credit card to proceed. I have already added a new credit card, but I continue to receive the same error message, with no option to upload the required documents. Additionally, when I attempt to use the Help tab to contact support, I encounter the same error message indicating that my account is inactive. I’ve attempted all recommended troubleshooting steps, including clearing cache, using multiple browsers, and trying alternate devices.

I have attached screenshots of the error message and the original email for your reference. Please assist me in resolving this issue and provide guidance on how I can upload the required documents to complete the reverification process. Thank you in advance.

Need Urgent Assistance on Ongoing Deactivation

Amazon is being super difficult with my appeal process. They claimed that I was selling unauthentic goods and since I didn’t have an invoice from an actual organization and instead a reseller that I have extensively vetted and done business with for years and have sold them on other platforms and got them authenticated by GOAT and StockX and Check Check and Stadium Goods and just about any reputable sneaker reselling organization you can think of. I know they are legitimate, but Amazon continues to fight me on this and I am done selling on their platform. It’s not worth my time to have to meticulously prove something so simple for almost an entire year while I can easily continue operations on platforms that treat their sellers a lot better. Maybe have an internal team checking the authenticity of each sneaker that is sent into Amazon? eBay does it. It’s absurd that they don’t have a more efficient alternate solution. I’ve never had an issue reselling sneakers, and I’ve had an established business for almost 8 years now and I almost lost everything selling on Amazon. I’m done on the platform and would never think about selling another item on here. I have provided invoices for most of the rest of my inventory, but a lot of it is in the same boat. But they won’t send me back any of it and it’s been 10 months now and recently they just cleared the balance on my account so It looks like they took all my money and are keeping it. Like I said too, they’ve kept all of my inventory even though I have sent receipts for a lot of these things and they do not respond when I send them emails or update them with new information. What is the process of just shutting down my entire account and forgetting about them completely and how do I get it through to a higher level appeals team so that my case can actually be dealt with by a real person. I’ll do whatever needs to be done to shut it down and recover my funds and inventory. I’ll do a verification call. I’ll send them what I have. I’ll do whatever but I’ve lost hope in doing the same exact thing that I’ve been doing—submitting an appeal on the main page. It does nothing, I just get the same automated message and I have never actually talked to anybody about it so I just need more information on getting my case to the right team and finally ending this year long delay in my business. Is it reasonable to take almost a year? I don’t think so. Especially when I’m trying to just shut down my account and be done with Amazon. Also, I never got to do a funds release verification call. Again, I’m just looking for next steps because I honestly don’t know what to do. I’ve given them the receipts that I have, I don’t have anything else. I continue to sell the same shoe on other platforms that actually authenticate them and have had no issues.

I followed the prompt to reactivate my account from my emails but it just takes me back to the credit card page to update. I changed out the cards to see if this would help but no luck. The reactivation links continue to take me back to the CC landing page?

Amazon not allowing brand owner to change title

What is heavens name is wrong with Amazon? We are the brand owner and manufacturer.

I have been trying to change some of our product titles slightly (more optimized), for weeks now. I submit the "upload file" as specified, both in partial update and full update modes. No change.

Yesterday I finally submit a case in order to change it, and they respond they can't change it with this?!?!

"On checking our resources, we see that the ASIN is linked to your brand. When an ASIN is linked to your brand, Amazon increases the strength of your contributions and can prevent changes to specific attributes after their initial entry. Due to this, you're unable to update changes to the listing.

We request you to delete the listing and wait for 24 hours and we request you to perform full update by choosing "Update" on "Update/Delete" column in the inventory file.

We at Seller Support are unable to override the brand contribution due to lower reconciliation score with locked product data. "

Note: I already did a "full update" weeks ago, and it didn't do anything. Amazon is telling me I have to DELETE my active product listing, losing sales and ranking for at least 24 hours, then RELIST it in order to change the title?

This is literally the dumbest system ever. First they have us trying to do everything with "flat file uploads," now uploading those files doesn't even fix or change anything, and we have to open support tickets, where they tell us to "delete the product."

Today all of my orders that came in yesterday that I am trying to ship today via USPS Ground Advantage have a "Late Delivery Risk" label attached to the buying the shipping service. This is absolutely ridiculous. These are standard shipping orders that are not even 23 hours old. So now is this glitch in the Amazon buy shipping going to count against my performance metrics? Because there is no way I am spending double the amount on shipping than is necessary because Amazon's bot has it wrong yet again. Once again, more stress than necessary to actually try and meet Amazon's ridiculous shipping times and inaccurate AI bot shipping preferences. This needs fixing.

Talked with support and if you use USPS to ship some smaller lighter packages, please be aware that Amazon is not closing on 1/9/25. Even though the President signed it as a day of mourning and USPS will be closed, Amazon is operating as scheduled and requires you to ship and have the packages picked up that same day if you currently offer same day shipping. Prepare to paying more to another carrier to ship your packages and potential profit loss on your orders.
