First FBA shipment

I am a new FBA professional seller. I understand that there is no limit on the capacity for the first shipment (as stated in Amazon guide). However, while listing my product (which is a single product), I encountered a red warning line under "Number of Boxes" under "Offer". It states: "Maximum quantity allowed: 100 boxes."

My package dimensions are 22.8 x 8.2 x 12.2 inches, and each package weighs 9.9 pounds. I have a total of 1000 packages, which I plan to ship in 250 boxes (with 4 items per box).

Could you please provide any advice or solutions for this issue?

Same Customer REPEAT THEFT - Please Help

I am kindly looking for some Amazon assistance on a customer theft issue. This customer has now committed theft on 2 different orders.

1) Last year this customer purchased $200 of Christmas decorations from our business.

2) Upon receiving the item they claimed the some of the contents were missing from the box.

3) The mailed it back for a refund.

4) I made a note of the issue in the customers order, as I suspected them of theft.

5) This year the same customer, placed another order for the SAME Christmas decorations.

6) As I had made a note of the issue the previous year, I decided to be extra vigilant when sending the order.

7) I personally verified the contents of the package, photographed the contents, photographed the item on a scale, along with the weight and shipping label.

8) I then mailed the customer the item.

9) 24 hours later they AGAIN Claim that some of the contents are missing, and have started a return request.

This customer clearly broke or lost part of their decoration from last year, ordered yet again a new one, stole what they wanted, and is trying to steal and get a full refund. I am about 10 seconds away from sending this customer the NASTIEST e-mail ever, and filing a police repost.

Please assist in stopping these scumbag losers. I have had ENOUGH...honestly.

Just asking for real guidance to stop this loser from stealing from me

Amzon Campaign Ads Query

I am very new to Amzon seller central and thought about selling some generic items. I have mostly dealt with ebay but sales were so low I could not afford expenses. I have had no sales here on Amazon for weeks so decided to run some campaigns.

My question to all sellers :

Do we really need to run campagins to get sales or does it work like ebay where you can set percentage and ads still come up.

If I am selling differnet colours of products do I have to run ads group and add all colours to campaigns

By now I am spending more on ads then even getting sales.

Please can someone guide.

Amazon Moderator: Please Help

I received a trademark/logo infringement notice weeks ago and the ASIN was deactivated. It was a very high selling item. I provided the LOA from the brand. Then I was told it was not listed correctly (was listed as Generic) and needed to be listed as the brand name. So I tried to do that, but was not allowed by Amazon. The LOA also referenced I was allowed to sell, advertise and list the specific ASIN, too. Keep in mind the ASIN was created years ago when the Amazon TOS required the use of the brand "Generic" for this ASIN. All of this was explained numerous times and I am in the circle of chaos with support. The brand approved me to sell the specific ASIN in the LOA as well. I just want the ASIN reinstated as it was a huge seller. I don't want to create a new listing. I know this is possible. Please, look into this case for me. ID 16836429821 Thank you

We bought the shipping label on Amazon, the package was delivered during the delivery window. The tracking shows it was delivered. We shipped it out by the ship by date.

Why was this seller funded and not Amazon. Mods please investigate.

Wanted to see if any other sellers out there feel like it is worth selling outside the US with Amazon. I feel like every time I decide to expand beyond the border, I get punished for it. The small, barely single digit increase in profits generates about 80% of all headaches. Mexico and other central/South American orders rarely ever result in a successful sale - either never gets there, or customer complains for a refund(usually due to shipment arriving late or not at all). European paperwork and tax hurdles make it difficult to turn a profit, and then this year Canada Post decides its a great idea to go on strike for Christmas. I have turned off everything except the US, just not worth the trouble to me - wondering if others have done the same. Happy Holidays!

1. We have several ASINs that have been removed from the platform due to product compliance for skin lightening. Can someone please check why Amazon is removing these listings despite being given a due date until next year to complete the lab tests?

Note: This article was updated on December 19, 2024, to include a clarified definition of "manufacturing cost."

We’re updating our Fulfillment by Amazon (FBA) inventory reimbursement policy to help provide you greater transparency and more predictability in how reimbursements are calculated for items that are lost or damaged before a customer order. This will help drive a more consistent approach that works as we support sellers with supply chain services across their sales channels.

Effective March 10, 2025, we’ll reimburse you based on the product manufacturing cost of the affected inventory. "Manufacturing cost" means your cost to source a product from a manufacturer, wholesaler, reseller, or produce the item if you are the manufacturer. It excludes costs such as shipping, handling, customs duties, or other costs.

To help provide you greater control and accuracy, you can choose how we determine the manufacturing cost for your products:

  • We’ll provide a manufacturing cost estimate for you. This estimate is based on a comprehensive evaluation of comparable products sold by Amazon, by other sellers, and through wholesale channels.
  • You can provide your manufacturing costs directly. If you don’t provide your own costs, we’ll automatically apply our estimate which you can change when you’re ready.

To help you prepare, you can view and manage manufacturing costs in the Inventory Defect and Reimbursement portal starting in late January using a new Manage Your Manufacturing Cost page.

We’re constantly refining our operations and processes to prevent products from being lost or damaged and having to be reimbursed. For cases where reimbursement is necessary, we’re focused on ensuring timely compensation. We now offer automatic reimbursements for items lost in our fulfillment centers, saving you time, and eliminating the need for you to submit a claim to receive reimbursement.

For items that are lost or damaged after a customer order in Amazon’s store, we’ll continue to reimburse you for the sales price on the original order minus applicable fees.

Product unavailable after 1 order

I sent 15 units to FBA and they were received. My account showed all 15 units available for days. I made one sale. Now it shows 0 in stock. Each jar was individually labeled with a sku. Where are the 14 remaining jars and why does it say it’s not in stock?
