Competitor's Product Authenticity Complaints

We received a total of four Product Authenticity Complaints in the past. After submitting the required documents, Amazon deemed three of the complaints as insufficient. The last complaint was resolved as well. However, our listings were reactivated, and one customer purchased the product the same day we resumed the listing, only to claim that the product was counterfeit again. It’s clear that a competitor is continuously targeting us. This is a branded item for which we have an LOA, although other companies can also sell it. Despite this, the situation is very frustrating. Does anyone have any suggestions or methods to prevent this? Also, will Amazon conduct an investigation before issuing a Product Authenticity Complaint? We’d like to avoid having our listings deactivated again due to this issue.

Hi,

I had created a case, 17089554291, where there has been no progress for my case that I made over a month ago.

Is there a way that I can contact Amazon or can someone Amazon step in to help me with this, because it just has been too long since the case was made, and according to Amazon, too many stuff that I have sent to Amazon has been marked "missing".

Hi all, so it's been quite a while since I listed anything and I have a question about the new listing requirements. If you had a Brand Name exemption can you still use this when listing without being Brand Registered? I enter my brand name like usual and select "I do not have a product ID". When I try to move forward I get the message "You have indicated that your product does not have a product ID. You need to apply for approval to list this product without a product ID."When I try to send pics and apply for approval as requested, I keep getting an error message.

We received a warning stating, "Your account is at risk of deactivation," with the Tax ID verification still marked as "In Progress" and no option to take action other than waiting.

When we checked the verification screens, everything else showed as verified, except for the Tax Information. To be safe, we resubmitted the form and received a confirmation at the end of the process. However, the "In Progress" status and warning banner are still there.

This seems like a glitch, but it’s a major concern. With significant investment in stock, the uncertainty is frustrating, and we need clarity on what’s happening.

Missing Payment

I am writing to urgently address a persisting issue regarding missing payments from my seller account. Despite repeated attempts to resolve this matter through Seller Partner Support, I have yet to receive a satisfactory resolution.

As of the latest reconciliation, my account balance stands at $176.77. However, on each disbursement date over the past 1.5 months, the net proceeds have consistently shown as $0. This discrepancy is deeply concerning and has severely impacted my ability to maintain operations.

To provide a clear timeline of events, I have outlined the disbursement dates and the corresponding absence of payments:

1/13/20245– 1/27/2025

1/27/2025 – 2/3/2025

2/3/2025 – 2/17/2024

Despite assurances from Seller Partner Support that the issue would be resolved and payment would be processed on subsequent dates, I have yet to see any tangible progress. This ongoing delay is causing significant frustration and financial strain on my business.

I want to emphasize that my deposit method is fully updated and verified by Amazon. Therefore, the absence of payments cannot be attributed to any issues with the payment method.

After contacting seller support (Case ID#: 17228479071) they said it was due to bank blocking the payment, however, I contacted by bank and they said they have not blocked any payment nor received anything!

Hello,

I am seeking urgent assistance regarding my tax information verification. I submitted the required tax documents over 10 days ago; however, the verification status remains "in progress," and I have received a warning indicating that my account is at risk of deactivation.

I have opened a support case (Case ID: 17277816841) but have not received a resolution yet. I understand that similar issues have been reported by other sellers and that they have been advised to wait 72 hours for resolution. Given that my situation has persisted beyond this timeframe, I am seeking immediate assistance to resolve this matter and prevent any disruption to my account.

Please let me know if any additional information or documentation is required from my end to expedite the verification process.

I have utility patent, Design patent, Trademark. On February 6th My inventory was put in quarantine for suspected violations. I'm being told that it is being worked on Case number 17229308051. I'm also being told that my product cannot be released for 60 days. I get that Amazon is a selling platform but what gives Amazon the right to hold someone's inventory without just cause or without proper notifications. No performance notifications nothing. I have also learned the hard way how bad customer service is and they just lie to you to get you off the phone. When my product is released who is going to pay me back for all the lost sales due to the fact that amazon has in my opinion stolen my inventory without any just cause. This unfair business practice. My listings are suppressed my advertising has become a waste. I have listings with absolutely no views now. Why waste my time to insist on a Brand when you get treated like garbage. But yet I see all the fake product listings with foreign addresses not even in english. I waited years for my patents to get approved to run into this drama. RELEASE MY INVENTORY

SEAmod has left the (Amazon) building ... literally, and not in a "headed to that great beyond" kind if way (thankfully). Her last post on the ASF was close to when she left.

I knew it was bound to happen at some point. However, that doesn't change how I feel about things right now. I really wish it had been many years from now and under different circumstances. I know everyone won't feel the same about her absence, and that's OK. Some won't care, just because they don't really know much about her/you. Those who might take some sort of joy in this just don't matter to me.

While I know Amazon doesn't care about the loss, sadly I don't think the majority of sellers will realize how much of a loss this is to our community; how much she/you advocated for the average seller; all the behind the scenes work that went unnoticed. Well I noticed, as did many others, and I thank her/you for being the longest tenured AZ Employee Poster in the forums. Granted the last few years her/your participation has been on a lower level, yet it has still been there helping sellers.

I was in the OSFE when she/you first came in so many years ago, under DarrenK if I'm not mistaken. For a while you were even our lone Moderator, and that during a rough stretch for the ASF. Yet she/you kept it going, building on what DarrenK had started. Eventually even becoming our Global Admin covering every ASF around the globe.

I was privileged to be a part of a small'ish group, who spent a lot of time in the forums, who were able to help for a period of time with the OSFE. It allowed me to have more interactions with you than most. What I saw was a caring person who enjoyed her job and knew who to go to on our behalf when issues arose.

I never got the chance to meet up with her/you. I wish I had! Hopefully though somehow in the near future we can make that happen.

People come and go here. I get that. You gave us many years and I can't thank you enough for that. In this day and time even more than a year of ASF participation is rare, so we should be thankful to have gotten so many.

Whatever life has ahead for you I hope that you enjoy it to the fullest! Don't look back!
