I wanted to reach out and share a few suggestions for when you’re creating a thread and looking for support from moderators or the community.

There are a few things to keep in mind when creating your thread.

  1. kind of help are you’re looking for?
  2. The type of issues did you encounter?
  3. Supporting information.
  4. Limited visibility.

What kind of help are you’re looking for?

There can different forms of support or help that can be provided depending on the situation. These examples include support with: account reactivation, appeal and disputes, broken appeal paths or other technical issues that occur. Can you provide enough information that helps us better understand your situation?

The type of issues did you encounter?

As there are many different types of situations that can occur, we will need more information surrounding what occurred, and how you were impacted. Was this something that impacted a performance calculation, the status of your account, or your listings?

Supporting Information

Supporting information is very crucial for us when we need to better understand your specific situation. This can include performance notifications, ASINs, screenshots, policy violations, case ID, and complaint IDs. This is not an exhaustive list of supporting details but to aid in suggestions for what to provide that would help us in supporting you through your concerns.

As a side note when providing any supporting information. This is a public space and strongly discourage posting any personal information such as emails, phone numbers, addresses, or other personal details. If you need to provide any personal information, please create a case and share your information there, proceed to post your case in your thread so we can see your submission.

Limited visibility

Our team does have limited visibility into your account or the information requested, thus to help prevent delays we recommend providing what you can from the information above. The information provided can be used to not only better understand your situation and impact but also engage the necessary teams for further review if needed.

On 11 March it was delivered to Amazon Fulfillment Center but they didn't receive and scan my products yet.

How much time will it take more?

US Resident Seller Error

When I attempt to list a product that is classified as a pesticide I receive the following message.

"to sell pesticide and pesticide devices on Amazon.com you must be a resident of the USA"

I have opened several cases with seller support and all I get is " there are no restrictions on this ASIN"

According to Amazon I should be able to take an E Learning course to list and sell Pesticides, but I am being blocked?

How do I get my account to reflect the fact that I am a US resident seller?

Brand registry ownership transfer

hi everyone we are facing an issue with brand registry ownership transfer. In fact I am the new owner of a brand that exists already on Amazon brand registry and enrolled by the ex owner of the brand.

We are trying to change the ownership through Amazon brand registry but we can’t find any solution. The ex owner tried to contact the support but they refused to make the change ? We are lost

We already made the change with USPTO. As long as I own the brand trademark the support can update it or brand registry right ?

I want to start this by stating we are an Amazon approved service provider listed in the Service Provider Network. We are not exactly sure what policy change was put into place regarding Restricted Product appeals, how they are reviewed, and what new steps if any are now in place for these reviews, but we are seeing the same canned response across more than a dozen client selling accounts. There are 2 different messages we are seeing (sometimes we see both on the same case). Those canned responses are as follows:

"We received your submission and we are currently working with other Amazon teams to reach a resolution on your case.

still working on the resolution

It can take up to 5 business days to conduct the investigation. We will update you once a resolution has been reached."

AND

"We received your submission and we are currently working with other Amazon teams to reach a resolution on your case.

It can take up to 10 business days to conduct the investigation. We will update you once a resolution has been reached."

In every single instance, across a multitude of client accounts, not once have we received a resolution or reply to these cases within either the 5 day or 10 day window requested. In 100% of the instances where we received this message, we have had to request an update after the grace period requested. These are, for the most part, fairly run-of-the-mill standard cases where a word or two needs to be changed due to whatever Amazon claim(s) is enforcing this week. I would just really appreciate some clarity on what has changed in this process and why the slow turning wheels have ground to a complete halt on the appeals team? Hello Sellers & Amazon,

We recently listed our new pet food products on Amazon without any issues, and they were active and available for purchase. However, after attempting to edit the listing, our listings were taken down and are now showing as inactive. An example ASIN is B0DZQD2KYZ.

Upon investigating, we found that Amazon is now requiring selling approval for this category When we attempt to request approval, we receive the following message:

We are not accepting applications to sell:

- Other Pet Supplies category in Refurbished condition(s)

- Other Pet Ingestible Products in New, Used, Refurbished, Collectible condition(s)

- Other Pet Supplies category in Collectible condition(s)

This is concerning because our pet food products were initially approved and live on Amazon, but now we are unable to even request approval to sell in the category. We have sold on Amazon for over 10 years with excellent account standing, we are unsure why this restriction is preventing us from even submitting an application for approval. We maintain all the proper FDA and USDA certifications for our products and hope this is simply a technical bug.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? It’s frustrating to have had these products live, only to now be locked out of the category without a path forward.

Any insights or guidance from fellow sellers or Amazon reps would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

We have an issue with our products (ASIN: B0BW9VBZXJ, B09FP52Z2M, B09FQBBZND, B09FQBTQFF, B09FQ9Q22K, and B09FQ882K4), DeVault Enterprises Utility Jug) being incorrectly classified by Amazon. The item is a “utility jug”, but Amazon has categorized it as a “portable fuel container” and is requiring certification for it. Despite category changes and removing any mention of fuel (meaning non-fuel) Instead, I keep receiving generic, copy-paste responses.

We do not make or sell these with the intention of them being used as a portable fuel container. Our listing state that the intended use is for the “DeVault Utility Jug” is designed for storing and dispensing “non-fuel liquids” like water, oil, or other non-hazardous substances. It also states the intended uses in the mold of the jug itself.

I have tried to get these fixed but get the exact same auto-response every time.

Super frustrating when I get an email from Amazon "We found something you might like" and it is for a Utility Jug like ours, that is shipped and sold by Amazon!

Please help!

I remember Amazon FBA offering a placement service where you can ship everything to one FC and then they re-distributed the items to the ultimate FC and Amazon charged 20 or 30 cents per item.

Do they still offer that service?

Small business certification suspended

After submitting documents to renew our small business certification for the new year(been doing this for several years), Amazon has suspended our small business certification for some reason. After creating a case, I was told "Our review find that your account is not linked to the brand’s registration as a brand owner in Brand Registry." We don't own a brand have not registered a brand. I can't seem to get an explanation as to what's going on. This has not happened the last several times we have submitted updated documents for renewal, so what has changed this year?

Restricted products violation

ASIN: B0D8V961W5. I received a restricted products violation for my product AlkaDetox. The keyword that was flagged was "reduces inflammation" as a disease claim. I have removed the keyword and have submitted the photos required from me to case: 17329816571. I have double checked my listing to see if I have any keywords that may violate the disease claims and have not found one. Can you please help me get the listing reinstated? Thank you!
