Need Clarity from Mods on New Canned Response Regarding Restricted Product Appeals

Need Clarity from Mods on New Canned Response Regarding Restricted Product Appeals

I want to start this by stating we are an Amazon approved service provider listed in the Service Provider Network. We are not exactly sure what policy change was put into place regarding Restricted Product appeals, how they are reviewed, and what new steps if any are now in place for these reviews, but we are seeing the same canned response across more than a dozen client selling accounts. There are 2 different messages we are seeing (sometimes we see both on the same case). Those canned responses are as follows:

"We received your submission and we are currently working with other Amazon teams to reach a resolution on your case.

still working on the resolution

It can take up to 5 business days to conduct the investigation. We will update you once a resolution has been reached."

AND

"We received your submission and we are currently working with other Amazon teams to reach a resolution on your case.

It can take up to 10 business days to conduct the investigation. We will update you once a resolution has been reached."

In every single instance, across a multitude of client accounts, not once have we received a resolution or reply to these cases within either the 5 day or 10 day window requested. In 100% of the instances where we received this message, we have had to request an update after the grace period requested. These are, for the most part, fairly run-of-the-mill standard cases where a word or two needs to be changed due to whatever Amazon claim(s) is enforcing this week. I would just really appreciate some clarity on what has changed in this process and why the slow turning wheels have ground to a complete halt on the appeals team? Could really use some clarity from the mods on this @Connor_Amazon@Nano_Amazon @Glenn_Amazon @Cooper_Amazon @Atlas_Amazon @Josh_Amazon

I am no specialist or instance at all, just my two cents: since we have seen that Amazon doesn't accept applications for supplements and pet supplies the last weeks, I can imagine that they have no intention to find a solution for the seller and that they will send automated answers in such cases till the seller is giving it up.
