Petition to Jeff/Executive Team regarding FBA Issues

There are multiple threads about issues with FBA intake procedure and Sellers getting the blame for mistakes/lost items etc being made by the FBA warehouses.

We hope to draft an email we can send to the Executive Team that will address these issues.

We need FBA Sellers who have experienced these issues to sign onto this petition so the Executive Team can see it is not just isolated incidents but a systemic issue.

Issues: (please reword, add, edit etc) Note: THIS IS A ROUGH DRAFT.

  1. In the last few months a change was made whereby the Seller was blamed for issues caused by the FBA warehouses - without recourse.

  2. There is an auto-reconcile feature that seems to be in place which is causing widespread issues by not allowing a shipment to be researched for items lost by the warehouses - or not being counted correctly in receiving.

  3. Complete and correct shipments are being counted in as short and then designated with a “Problem” designation requiring Sellers to Acknowledge that we caused the problem and thus taking a hit to our Inbound Metrics as well as losing the value of the items lost.

I support this fully. It seems as each year goes by, the fba team abuse more and more of their own rules to the point where it’s now straight theft what they’re doing. i definitely suggest emailing the escalations team as part of a group or individually, or contact a lawyer. These are legitimate issues that should scare every seller out there in regards to amazon stealing their inventory.

Fully support.
I have had $100k worth of inventory completely vanish and have been refused reimbursement from Amazon support. Someone please help if you have any insight.

I couldn’t support this more.

After 1,902 perfect shipments, with perfect metrics, four of the last ten shipments have been hit with Inbound Performance Problems. Despite overwhelming written documentation, we have been unable to get any of them fixed.

This has totally shut down our business. We haven’t sent anything to FBA in over a month because we fear more problems that will cause our FBA privileges to be revoked.

One of my Amazon BFF’s brought up the point that this could get all of us suspended. I can’t take that risk, so have to withdraw my support.

Most of my cases involve them sabotaging my shipments by adding things I didn’t send, so I’ll have to continue toughing it out with them; one shipment at a time.

Sent an email to jeff@ last week detailing numerous problems I’ve been having with FBA. One case dates back to March where they owe me thousands $$. Have yet to get a response. Will update if/when I get one.

I support this fully. After 4182 Shipment(s), FBA process now is straight up a joke and a complete waste of time.

IU do not know if you want to include me I had all these issues happened to me and I pushed it to such an extreme my seller abilities were removed over it and they sent me some bs about invalid invoices as the reason why

This thread was brought to my attention by an interested seller, and I am going to escalate the issues you are posting about here within Amazon.

OK, Rooster.

Now that Susan picked up the issue, please put me back on the support list.

Same issue as before, with one small change. They found my $65.00 collectible bunny, and removed the six charms I didn’t send to ONT8.

But, they have yet to remove the +Inbound Performance Alert.+ Other three shipments have yet to be resolved.
