Hello, Amazon Sellers!
As we gear up for the holiday shopping season, let's take a moment to talk turkey—or maybe not turkey at all! I'm curious about your thoughts on Thanksgiving cuisine, and I want to stir the gravy boat a little.
Here's my burning question: What do you think is the most overrated Thanksgiving food item?
Is it the classic green bean casserole that always seems to have more mushroom soup than actual vegetables? Perhaps it's the cranberry sauce that comes out of the can with those distinctive ridges intact. Or maybe—dare I say it—you think the revered turkey itself doesn't live up to the hype?
For me, I'd have to go with stuffing. I've had just about every iteration of it I can find, and it all just tastes like soggy bread to me - I don't get it!
I want to hear your hot takes! Share your thoughts in the comments below and let's get a lively discussion going.
Stuffing with any chopped up gizzards in it in a tie with white meat from the turkey. Too dry and no taste there. Give me HAM!
If you use fresh cranberries and make your own, you won't have that problem.
You may (or may not, depending on your age) be familiar with the 1970s TV show All in the Family. In one Thanksgiving episode, Archie told Edith he wanted real cranberries, the kind that slid out of the can, and not that stuff she was serving.
Can't say I've had stuffing with the chopped gizzards, doesn't sound like it would do much to improve my opinion of stuffing!

I don't find myself skipping out on much of the Thanksgiving food items. I like to turn it into a mountain on my plate anyway and eat it all in one bite (like a KFC bowl). 🤣
I don't like Brussels sprout (even with bacon) or yams (even with marshmallows) but that doesn't answer the 'overrated question' though. Hahaha.
I'm going to have to go with the turkey. Oftentimes, its not cooked properly (at least in the Thanksgivings I've attended), and it ends up being smothered in gravy or cranberry sauce, etc. I also just don't like the taste of in general, but that's just me!
I'm not sure about food but I think Amazon Seller Polls are the hardest thing to try to swallow.
Definitely turkey.
The sides are where it's at!
The turkey for me unless is fried. I am always in charge of the mashed potatoes (potato ricer or whipped) 😊 mmm I’m hungry
Pumpkin pie!!! I will never understand the pumpkin obsession. 🙃
