Well @Seller_EkbLZUYSpmJEy, you are in luck as we are happy to announce the launch of the new “Follow Discussion” feature on Seller Forums, so our sellers will never miss an update on the conversations that matter to them most.

This new feature is easy to use!

Simply click the new “Follow” button on any discussion of interest and you’ll get a pop-up on the Notifications tab whenever there is new activity.

You’ll also be able to see a summary of your Followed discussions in the new Follow filters on the home, discussions, and profile pages.

Also just in case you caught it in the screenshot above, the ability to follow sellers and Community Manager is coming soon. Please stay tuned!

I have a question regarding the fees that are paid when a product is sold. There is a product I sell that is $11. When scanning the barcode on the Amazon Seller app, it says that the Amazon fees are $1.65. However, I just sold one of the products and that was not the case. When I go the Payments page and look at the transactions, it shows the "Amazon Fees" as over $5. Is this just an 'assumption' by amazon when incorporating shipping cost to send to FBA or is this the true fees? If so, why does it say $1.65 fees on the app. Note, I package & label my own products. Thanks in advance for the help!

Hello,

I need urgent help regarding my Amazon.com seller account, which was deactivated on 05-11-2024. The reason stated in the email was:

"Your Amazon.com seller account has been deactivated, and your listings have been removed. Ship any open orders to avoid further impact on your account.

Why is this happening?

We were unable to verify information related to your seller account or did not receive any new information regarding your listings or selling history."

Issue Details:

I originally created my Amazon.com account as an individual and successfully passed verification.

Later, I updated my account details to a business entity.

After operating normally, my account was suddenly deactivated without warning.

When I logged into Seller Central, Amazon asked me to update my business information in the Legal Entity section.

Problem Identified:

In the "Country of Establishment" field, Amazon locked it to the United Kingdom (my country of residence).

My business is registered in another country, but I am unable to change this field.

I opened multiple cases and checked the Seller Forums for solutions, but nothing has worked.

As a workaround, I registered a UK company and updated all the details in the business information section, and everything got verified.

Current Situation:

Despite submitting multiple appeals and verifying all information, my account remains deactivated. Case ID: 17223738471 is open, but I have not received a resolution.

Request for Help:

Why is my account still deactivated even after verifying all business information?

Is there a way to change the locked "Country of Establishment" field?

What additional documents or steps are needed to resolve this issue?

If anyone from the Amazon team or seller community has faced a similar issue or can provide guidance, I would appreciate your help.

Sales Have Fallen Off Drastically

I realize there are a lot of posts like this that pop up from time to time with people reporting their sales have really fallen off. I don't mean to create yet another one just to bemoan this fact as I'm sure a lot of other people have experience this too, but this is quite severe.

It was like a flip switched mid-December. I've been selling on Amazon for five years and have a lot of data to show what I expect to be selling relative to other years. I went from nearly 1500-1800 sales a month down to maybe 350 at most. My January was down 80% from the previous January. I haven't changed anything, and the sudden nature of it makes me feel like something in the algorithm has changed rather than it being a subtle creep of competition.

Perhaps I'm missing something and there was an announcement as to some policy that changed. I'm FBM and have never been FBA.

I have been trying to close my account for YEARS. My account is deactivated but I am still being charged inventory fees for one unit that is unfullfiullable. Amazon is unable to locate this unit to remove or destroy it. When I try to close my account I get this message.

"We’ve received your request to close your account. Your account is currently in blocked status, and no further subscription fees will be charged to your account. If you take no further action on your account, it will remain in the same status. If you wish to appeal the deactivation of your account, you can do so in Seller Central."

I have opened cases, I have called literally hundreds of times and noone is able to resolve this issue. I want to close my account and never engage with amazon again. Im tempted to just cancel the card they have on file.

Deactivation of Account for a Keychain...

We've been selling a keychain on many platform sites since October of 2018 and finally thought we would give Amazon a try. I've been putting this off due to all of the stories I've read online. Well the stories are true...

The keychain we've been selling for over 6 years is a keychain of a witch, a broom and engraved the word wicked. Meaning "wicked witch"... Yes, my account has been deactivated stating my product is a trademark violation. So to everyone, note, witches can no longer be called wicked witches on amazon.

Chalk this one up to another Amazon sellers horror story for something ridiculous that many of us have been saying since we were born...

Ok Dougal_Amazon let's see what you can do that many, many mods and Amazon employees have failed to do. Can you actually get the ZZP brand off of my homemade item that I created the original ASIN for? What would you like me to do next?

Dougal asked me to create this thread himself. Here's the story... I'm a homemade seller. Years ago I created a product that solves a problem to many popular sxs UTV's. I started selling them on eBay as a way to get them to my friends and online aquaintences. The item took off and sold way more than I ever imagined. I moved my item to Amazon since many didn't use Paypal. Somehow, I convinced amazon to let me in and they gave me an ASIN for my homemade item. They sold well here too. Then, one day a couple years later, I notice on eBay that someone had multiple listings of my idea/item on eBay for half price from.... You guessed it, CHINA. I was cloned. They stole my photos and my description word for word. Ebay could care less. I felt safe on Amazon though as I was still the only one. Not for long, about six months later I noticed a strange brand name on my Amazon listing. I don't think I even used one then. But there was brand ZZP on my listing. Not long after, 1/2 priced clones of my idea showed up on Amazon with their own ASIN. As I said before, I never imagined my idea would be that good so I never bothered with patents etc. as I'm just Joe Blow selling his good idea..... It was too late, they cloned me before I knew what happened. And as I always say, what good are patents when China clones the Iphone and the Ford Raptor? I get it, but what bugs me is that someone has the ability to hack in and change a brand name on my item/ASIN, and for years now, with out having copyrights etc, Amazon dumps me to the curb. After many opened and closed cases without ANY help from Amazon I spread warnings in the forums. Dougal has called me out claiming that he can help. So this is my last shot at fixing the brand name hijacking. I'm skeptical.

sending item without box to amazon

please confirm can we send our product just like this packaging without any box to amazon via spd or pallet? our item is exactly same with our own brand. but we are not sure to use box with it. we tried calling one competitor's sample and they didn't use any box packaging either. only amazon box can be seen when arrives.

I ship tea in a glass bottle that has no preservatives in it. What that means is if it finds itself in freezing temperatures, it will freeze/thaw/break. This has been the worst shipping season in 28 years for my bottles and I am at wit's end with Amazon's response. We tried upgrading shipping, but found that bottles continued to break because of the freezing airplane's cargo hold. We added warmers to each box, but they stopped working if the box was delayed or found itself in temps in the low 20s and below. Then someone made a bodily injury claim with Amazon (and lost) because they said they cut their finger on a piece of glass when they opened the box. So, I began to cancel orders shipping up north, but that has gotten me into the potentially-deactivated status. I disputed them wanting to deactivate me due to the high cancellation rate and received a call from that department. They advised putting my store on vacation mode, but that would block all my southern customers from ordering. I went onto chat with seller support with a question as to how I can take off the individual states that are up north, but was told I couldn't break up the region. I can not afford to shut my store down so can Amazon please help me with this?

Brand Registry Question

Can I file a trademark application my own through USPTO (without assistance of an attorney), and submit this information for Amazon's Brand Registry program? Or does one of Amazon's contracted law offices have to complete the trademark application for me (via IP Accelerator Program)? Also, if I submit an Intent-to-Use pended application, will this take longer for Amazon to approve, or be scrutinized any differently, than if I submit a Use-In-Commerce pended application? I want my Brand Registry application to be completed as soon as possible.
