Account Deactivated due to inactivity.

I have a message

"Your account is inactive

You have attempted to access a store that is currently inactive. To reactivate your store, you may be required to add a new credit card and verify your identity. Please be advised that it may take a few minutes for your store to be reactivated."

I got an email with instructions but it just sends me right back to the same message. It's a loop and I have no options to update or make any changes.

Buyer returned Different Item

I need some advice. I had a buyer order a large toy building set. I purchased shipping through Amazon, it was shipped early and arrived early. Immediately upon delivery, the buyer files a 'Return - No Longer Needed'.

I advise all buyers to ship back the sets unopened and undamaged to avoid a restocking fee. I ask that they use the shipping box that I provided; which should be easy considering it was delivered only moments ago.

The item was returned in a different shipping box. The product box inside was scuffed, scratched, front face was concave, etc. It was not wrapped in the bubble wrap that we ship it in, invoice sheet was gone, etc. The shipping box was filled with kraft paper which we don't do. Unusual since they had just received the item. We then weighed the set and the weight was off, and we compared back to the images prior to shipment. This set was not the one we sent out and we have no way of knowing what might be going on inside the box without destroying the product. I would not feel comfortable trying to sell this to someone else.

What would be the right course of action here?

A. Do I notify the buyer that they may have 'mistakenly' sent us the wrong set, citing the differences in packaging, pictures, and weight. They can send us the right set undamaged for a full refund (less return shipping) and they can send a label to have the wrong set returned to them.

B. Since it's probably open and played with at this point, the refund is zero, materially different, and they can still send me a label to have the wrong one sent to them.

C. Am I waiting for the Amazon system to auto-refund the buyer and I file a Safe-T claim?

There is one more consideration. We are a small business and all our reviews are 5 stars. But there aren't too many reviews. Of the 1000 orders we fulfilled the last 12 months, we only got 1 review. So I am concerned that one bad review from a malicious buyer drops our positive rating for the year to 50%.

Amazon Sending out Thousands in Refunds?

I was selling a product on Amazon that perfectly followed it's TOS (verified by Amazon Support). Today, they determined that my product is no longer abiding by TOS and is a safety hazard and then they deactived my listing - totally fine since I haven't been selling that product for over 9 months. HOWEVER - they're now refunding all of my sales to customers - and I'm responsible for several thousand in refunds now? I don't get it.

If my product was following Amazon TOS at time of sale, and 9 months later they determine it doesn't - fine delete the listing. But now they're giving out voluntary refunds? Is this legal?

Brand Hijacking Issue

Hello,

I am encountering a serious issue where my brand name has been tampered with, which has halted my sales management. We have been listing and selling this product for 5 years, with multiple variants under the parent ASIN. Now, one of these variants has had its brand name altered and has been separated from the rest. Seeing many others on the forum facing similar issues is deeply concerning! When might our other products be subjected to similar hijacking?

Amazon's policy should prohibit others from tampering with brands; why is this happening? Malicious brand tampering harms buyers who have been purchasing the product and sellers who have been complying with Amazon's regulations, and it also damages Amazon's corporate image.

Hello everyone,

I recently applied to sell Beauty and hair Care products on Amazon, but my application was rejected. The email I received stated that my documentation did not pass their review and that I was not eligible to sell these products. Despite providing the necessary documentation, my application was not approved.

I'm unsure why my application was rejected and would appreciate any insights or advice from those who have faced similar issues. Specifically, I'm looking to understand:

1. The possible reasons my documentation might have been insufficient

2. What specific documentation or information does Amazon typically require for approval

3. Steps I can take to improve my chances of approval for future applications

Is brand registration so difficult?

After the application was rejected in seconds

I was accused of brand abuse, but our store is newly registered and I registered the brand last year without using it.

Why do new brands and stores say brand abuse.

I wrote the wrong brand name and missed a space. I don't know if this is the reason why I was rejected in seconds, but I have to wait for 90 days, which is too long.

Can I reapply for brand registration with the correct name?

As we have discussed over the phone, below are the required documents.

* A valid government-issued photo identity document make sure to include full name, date of birth, ID number, expiry date, signature of the bearer if applicable, and country of issuance or country of citizenship.

* Bank or credit card statement, include the full name of the individual or of the business, residential or business address, issuing bank information and the records related to the purchase of the ASIN under review.

* The document must contain name of the business owner or legal representative, business-operating name, business license number or registration number, official seal or stamp of the issuing authority, business address, date of incorporation, status of the business and signature of the legal representative

Closing My FBA Seller Account

My account is currently in "Deactivated" mode, which is fine by me. Since I have decided to close my FBA seller account altogether.

I started the closing process for my FBA seller account in November. I had a remaining balance that Amazon owed me which was $892.51. I had to do a Zoom type meeting with Amazon support. Because, for some reason they thought that I wanted to reactivate my account.

I told the Amazon rep that I only needed Amazon to deposit the balance into my bank account, I did not want to reactivate my account. With weeks going by, I finally received my money. I thought now that I have been paid my remaining balance I could start moving forward with closing my account.

Well…, before I could close my account, Amazon turned-around and charged my deactivated account the same amount ($892.51). With not offering any reason for this charge. I don’t have any inventory in their warehouse. So, I can't think for the life of me why I'm being charged. It may be an Amazon system issue, but I'm not sure...

So, now I’m starting all over again from the beginning with Amazon, asking them to redeposit the ($892.51) back into my account.

Is there anyone who can help me resolve this issue in a timely matter?
