Tracking is showing a delivery photo for each package delivered to the location as ordered.

Is there a way to correct this?

Hello Amazon Seller Support and Community,

I’m reaching out to seek clarification and assistance regarding an ongoing CPC certification review for two toy listings under Case ID #17367480401. Both CPC documents were submitted on January 5th, 2025, and it has now been over two months without resolution. This delay is causing significant operational challenges, and I kindly request an expedited review to resolve this matter urgently.

Key Questions and Concerns:

Timeline for CPC Approval

Could the team provide an updated estimated timeline for completing the review of these two listings? Given the submission date, this delay is far beyond the typical processing window we’ve experienced in previous years.

Why Are CPC Reviews Taking Longer in 2025?

Many sellers in the toy category have noticed a substantial increase in CPC review times this year. Are there systemic changes, increased workloads, or new compliance requirements contributing to these delays? Transparency would help us better plan and mitigate risks.

Feedback and Suggestions for Improvement

To prevent long-term disruptions for sellers—especially in seasonal categories like toys—I’d like to propose the following:

1. Prioritize Faster CPC Reviews for Time-Sensitive Categories

Toys are highly seasonal (e.g., holiday/Q4 peaks, summer releases). Unpredictable review timelines disrupt inventory planning, shipping, and warehouse readiness, ultimately hurting seller performance, customer satisfaction, and Amazon’s revenue. Streamlining approvals for seasonal products before peak periods is critical.

2. Allow “Provisional Sales” During CPC Review

Implement a process where listings can go live and inventory can be shipped while CPC reviews are pending. If a submission fails, the listing would be paused until compliance is achieved. This “pre-approval” system would:

Prevent costly shipping delays (e.g., missing container deadlines).

Let sellers launch new products on schedule without losing momentum.

Reduce backlog pressure on Amazon’s review team, as sellers could start sales while minor document tweaks are addressed.

The current process creates a bottleneck that disadvantages compliant sellers who submit documents in good faith. For toy sellers, even a 1-2 month delay can mean missing an entire sales season.

Request for Immediate Action

We urge Amazon to:

Expedite Case #17367480401 and clarify the holdup.

Share updates on efforts to improve CPC review efficiency.

Consider adopting seller-friendly adjustments to the review workflow.

Thank you for your attention to this urgent matter. The toy category thrives on innovation and timeliness, and we hope to collaborate with Amazon to ensure a smoother process for all parties.

Best regards,

ZIYOUGUANG

Hello,

Someone changed our product title name on ASIN B0CV4NYDQL to include a different brand name. We are the sole owners of this brand and seller support said someone else has now claimed control to make any changes on this ASIN. We have talked multiple times with seller support and they have not been able to help.

Please help me with this matter.

Thanks,

Josh.

Listing Hijacked by brand Partyreal
by Seller_jnMW8NLOsA3OZ
Amazon replied

One of our listings have been hijacked by the brand Patyreal. This seems to be a common scam.

We are the manufacturer and sole owner of the brand. We are unable to make changes to the listing due to another seller changing vital details and we're being told that we need to get permission from them!

Any help from the mods would be appreciated.

Hi Sellers,

Do you want to acquire new customers, boost repeat purchases, increase customer retention, and increase promotion efficiency on Amazon? Who doesn't right?

I'm here to share you a success story from brand Luminara who achieved this using Brand Tailored Promotions. (BTP)

Before we get into details, allow me to explain Brand Tailored Promotions. BPT allows you to create exclusive discount offers in the form of a promotional code. The "Potential New Customer" and "Cart Abandoner" audiences allow you to create codes for prospective new customers. Eligible customers (audiences) will be able to view the promotion on the search, detail, and promotion shopping pages.

See the Luminara success story video HERE!

"We are fairly confident that Brand Tailored Promotions really helped these customers to that finish line. If there is a seller not using Brand Tailored Promotions, I'd recommend them to start doing it." - Luminara

What's the benefit of BTP?

Using BTP provides you with the opportunity to reach out to Customers who click on your Brand's products, or add your products to their cart without making a purchase. Introducing new customers to your brand through promotions can help reduce new customer acquisition costs and increase brand trial. Consider running promotions around high traffic events, such as holiday or back-to-school seasons.

Get started with BTP

If you would like to learn more, please look at the resources below.

Have you used BTP similar to Luminara? What was your experience?

Restricted products violation
by Seller_uzJECEkNEL96Q
Amazon replied

ASIN: B0D8V961W5. I received a restricted products violation for my product AlkaDetox. The keyword that was flagged was "reduces inflammation" as a disease claim. I have removed the keyword and have submitted the photos required from me to case: 17329816571. I have double checked my listing to see if I have any keywords that may violate the disease claims and have not found one. Can you please help me get the listing reinstated? Thank you!

Hi Sellers,

Do you know the difference between Brand Approvals and Brand Registry on Amazon? I’m here to explain. 🙋‍♀️

Think of it this way: Brand Approval is getting permission to sell someone else's brand, while Brand Registry is registering and protecting your own brand on Amazon with a trademark.

Here’s a break down on what each program offers!

Brand Approvals: Permission to sell someone else's brand

  • Required permission to sell specific brands
  • Applies to sellers wanting to sell existing brands
  • Requires documentation (invoices, authorization letters, etc.)
  • You don't own the brand, you're getting permission to sell it

Brand Registry: Registering and protecting your own brand on Amazon with a trademark.

Note: If you are not the trademark owner but have a relationship with the brand owner, you can also request a selling role or a protection role and be added to represent the brand.

  • Brand Registry is a program for brand owners to protect their own brands
  • You must own/represent the trademarked brand
  • Requires registered or pending trademarks
  • Gives brand owners tools such as...Enhanced content (A+ Content), Brand store creation, Brand analytics, Protection against intellectual property violations, Brand reporting tools and more!

Note: If sellers don’t have a trademark but want to list under a brand that does not exist on Amazon, please reference the Brand name approval requirements and issue resolution.

How did you decide what was right for your business? Let me know in the comments if you have any specific questions!

Baffling Product_Type conflict
by Seller_8vneK96iyHjIX

Hi all,

I am attempting to update two products by uploading a product template. This fails, and returns the following error for both:

The Listing data provided is different from what's already in the Amazon catalog. The ean provided matches ASIN XXXX, but some of the listing data contradicts what is already in the Amazon catalog. The following listing attribute value(s) conflict with Amazon catalog value(s): 'product_type' (Merchant ["SHEET_PAPER", "ART"] / Amazon ["ACCESSORY_OR_PART_OR_SUPPLY"]). To fix the issue, please follow these steps 1) If the product you are listing is the same as XXXX, then update your listing's 'product_type' attribute(s) to match Amazon's catalog value, 2) If it's not the right ASIN, make sure the ean provided is correct, or 3) If you disagree with the data in Amazon catalog contact Selling Partner Support to start the appeal process.'

I am both the manufacturer and registered brand owner for these items, and can confirm that SHEET_PAPER is the appropriate product_type.

I have requested Seller Support change the product_type to SHEET_PAPER, to prevent this conflict occurring, but Seller Support tell me that both products ALREADY HAVE product_type SHEET_PAPER.

So what is causing the conflict?! Seller Support appear to be completely incapable of diagnosing (or even understanding) the problem, all they do is tell me over and over again which error message I'm receiving (which I'm well aware of, and in fact told them in the first place) and that product_type is already SHEET_PAPER.

The problem doesn't seem to be resolvable from my end, and Seller Support seem to be unable to offer actual technical assistance at their end. Has anyone had a similar issue, and found a way around it?

Thank you.
