Dear Amazon Seller Community and Moderators,
I’m writing out of deep frustration and a genuine desire for guidance. After over 15 years of committed, policy-compliant selling on Amazon, my account has been deactivated — and despite submitting full and clear information in my appeals, I continue to receive the same copy-paste denial message, with no specifics about what else is missing.
Background:
Reason for suspension: Intellectual Property policy violation due to brand name usage in listings (Centric Parts, Dodge).
- ASINs affected: 19 in total — none of which had sales in the past 12 months.
- Date of suspension: March 30, 2025.
- Performance Notification received: Gave 20 days to correct and respond.
- Account Deactivation: Happened just 3 days later, well before the 20-day deadline.
- Account Health Rating: 200 points at the moment of deactivation. Never dropped below 184.
What I’ve Done:
All flagged ASINs were completely removed from inventory by April 4, 2025.
Submitted a detailed appeal addressing:
- Root cause
- Corrective actions
- Preventive measures
- Attached evidence: A screenshot showing “0” Product Policy Violations from my dashboard.
- Updated compliance procedures: Now using only Amazon’s built-in tools (Manage All Inventory, native listing workflows) for 1:1 listing accuracy and full policy compliance.
- Committed to improving existing listings, not expanding inventory until everything is fully compliant.
- Reviewed all Amazon IP policy documentation: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/gp/help/external/201361070
- Aligning with the Account Health Rating Program: https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G200205250
Why It’s Frustrating:
My company, even though I am writing as the CEO, is a brand owner, a member of the AutoCare Association, and is currently preparing to apply for automotive fitment data management, in other words, this is a serious operation, not just a hobby. I received a message promising 20 days to act, I acted immediately, but the account was shut down in just 72 hours.
We’ve dedicated over 15 years to building a strong and compliant Amazon presence, and now, after doing everything by the book, we’re being shut out without any clear feedback. Thankfully, we’re growing fast on other platforms, but this experience is still extremely disappointing.
What I’m Asking:
Has anyone experienced something similar?
Is there any way to escalate a case like this and get a proper review?
Should I continue trying, or is it time to give up after 15+ years?
I’m genuinely open to any advice, direction, or even contact from Amazon staff. I want to sell with full compliance and transparency. I just want fairness and human review.
Thank you for reading, and thanks in advance for any help. Writing all this made me feel better :)
