According to Amazon’s guidelines:

"The Maximum Deal price that is suggested when creating a deal takes into consideration recent prices as well as the lowest price from a seller offering the product in new condition. The Deal price can fluctuate if any changes are made to the current price, and you cannot raise the price while the deal is running.”

This all makes sense, but we don’t understand what we are facing right now.

We are brand registered and our offer is the only one on Amazon UK, meaning we fully control the price. We started at £15.99 and gradually increased it to £19.99 over a few months. Since we became eligible for Amazon deals, we have actively used them as a key part of our selling strategy.

At first, when our price was £15.99, we were offered to run deals at £12.73, which was a reasonable 20% discount. As we increased our regular price, the deal price stayed the same at £12.73, which was expected based on Amazon’s guidelines. So far, everything was logical.

However, a few weeks ago, the deal price suddenly started dropping: first to £12.19, then to £11.58, and now, an absurd £11.00.

Between deals, we consistently sell at £19.99, so why does the deal price keep decreasing?

The issue seems to be that each time we run a deal at a lower price, it updates the “recent minimum price”. This means we are disallowing the deal price from increasing, which is expected. But it shouldn’t keep dropping lower and lower like this.

As far as I know, deal prices do not contribute to the Average Sales Price (ASP) on Amazon US, but I assume this is not the case on Amazon UK. If UK deals do factor into ASP, then by running deals at £12.73, we are unintentionally lowering our ASP, lowering our future deal price even further. If this keeps going, does that mean we’ll eventually have a negative deal price and have to pay Amazon extra per unit sold? 😂

Has anyone else faced this issue? How does Amazon UK actually calculate deal prices? Would love to hear any insights!

by Seller_Spf3f3ZBQKRcO

They blocked my listing because they think it has pesticides and that is not possible because they are cutting boards for domestic use, I have already made several appeals arguing that there is a confusion, arguing that they misinterpreted my words in my description and I do not receive a response and my listing is still blocked and I have the inventory still, the blocked listing is this one

Opened my account, suddenly there was a banner that said 'your account is at risk of deactivation". Adrenaline rises straightaway. No email or so prior to that. Open my desktop, following the link, and found all information were ticked green except 'TAX ID verification (in progress). There is no button or link on the desktop version, which you can upload the file. The banner is still there despite my tax information page saying ' Your tax information has been validated successfully. "Every time I see such a banner it makes me very stressed. I really wish I would have an opportunity sitting with whoever designed such page, face to face, and ask him (her) why using such words to terrify sellers.

Someone please help us on this?

Unfair competation for our products
by Seller_sNUpJxHfKeLL2

Amazon is unfair to us or competitors are giving false SDS

We sell a product that contains corrosive metal and classified as dangerous good and its dangerous good fulfillable. But some other sellers, selling the same ingredient product without dangerous good classification.

We are loosing sales because our product doesn't show prime and it has longer delivery time. But competitors product(Same materials) selling Prime next day delivery.

I tried to open case but it did not help.

These sellers submitting false Safety data sheet to amazon or amazon is unfair to me.

We have noticed a deduction of over $30,000 categorized as "Other Transaction" without any explanation. Naturally, our first step was to conduct our own research in an attempt to find any clues or clarification, but we found nothing.

Following that, we reached out to support, expecting some transparency. However, not only have we not received a clear answer, but the issue is also being repeatedly delayed without any resolution.

Given the significant amount involved, we cannot simply overlook this unexplained deduction. Since support has not been helpful so far, we are bringing this discussion to the Seller Forum—because, at this point, what else can we do?

We all know the automated "This feedback can only be removed if:"

-Contains seller specific personally identifying information

-Contains obscene language

-Entire feedback comment is a product review

-Entire feedback comment is about fulfillment or customer service for an order fulfilled by Amazon

There really needs to be more reasons for removal in my opinion. What I would like to see added:

-Feedback is related to an order that was cancelled by the customer

-Entire comment is a demand for a refund

-Entire feedback is related to a carrier issue that the seller could not control

-Contains any phone number or email address regardless of whose it is

-Commenter did not place an order with this seller

-Feedback is less than 10 characters or is only a single word

-Entire comment is about a missing package

What do you guys think could be added to feedback removal reasons? Maybe if enough people agree Amazon will eventually get halfway to considering changing it.
