Read onlyWe're just a few days away now from a special stretch of the year filled with Family, Friends, Food and FOOTBALL! 🏈🍽️
With three games throughout the day on Thanksgiving and Amazon Prime's second ever "Black Friday" game on Prime Video on Friday, there is no shortage of pigskin to be watched and family traditions to revisit. So, who do you got in these games?
First - Let's hear your picks for the games and see if you can earn some bragging rights amongst others here in the community! Drop your predictions below!
Let the debate begin - When do you aim to eat your Thanksgiving feast - Before noon? Afternoon? Or dinner hour? Lets hear it!
My personal picks are the Lions, Cowboys, Packers and Chiefs!
Our family tries to eat as early as possible, and then graze throughout the rest of the night, snacking on deserts and leftovers while family members are scattered around in and out of naps in every corner of the house. Can you relate? Surprisingly, most of my family looks forward to Friday more than the "big meal" when we make our family tradition, leftover Thanksgiving egg rolls (think turkey, mashed potatoes, corn, cranberry sauce, stuffing (dressing for some of you) wrapped up tight in egg roll wrappers then fried, with warmed gravy as the dipping sauce). As my late grandma would say, "Don't knock 'em 'til you try 'em"
Looking forward to hearing from you all and wish you and yours a fun, safe and prosperous holiday ahead!
Are we talking money line or spread here? Looks like you picked all the outright favorites!
As long as the Lions win, I'm okay with the rest. Hard to cheer against that team.
For bragging rights though... I'll go Lions, Giants, Packers, with an upset win by the Raiders.
Thanksgiving feast? Easy - 6:30pm. It's a tradition in my wife's family, so they count down like midnight for NYE almost.
My predictions:
Let's see how we all do!
- Manny
This is my 3rd year playing Fantasy Football and I am loving it. It makes me appreciate football more and I root for other teams besides just my own (Go Seahawks)... so I want every team to have a strong showing especially the Packers (Reed needs to step up). This is how I think the next 48 hours is going to go. (P.S. Are we ready for this Dolphins comeback story? They have had a crazy season).
Switching gears, Thanksgiving feast hours is generally mid-afternoon. Once everyone arrives, things have to be reheated and it takes a while for everyone to settle down and finally sit. Haha. So we aim for 1pm but it was turned into 3pm before. Appetizers are important. 😄
With that being said... Happy Thanksgiving everyone!
Cheers, Cooper_Amazon
I hope everyone had a restful and relaxing holiday weekend!
Lions, Cowboys, Packers and Chiefs did come up victorious over the Thanksgiving holiday and Black Friday. Lots of great games and memories made!
Thanks for stopping in and sharing!
