You need to read this thread!

Lots of BS going on.
While the New Seller Forum Experience currently displays your Global Account name, a future update will change this to display three names on your profile:
- Your display name. This is your chosen name for Seller Forums interactions. It will appear next to all your posts and replies.
- Your Amazon Storefront name(s). This will match the name that appears on your Amazon.com detail pages and storefront. It will appear on your Seller Forums profile page only
- Your Global Account names. It will appear on your Seller Forums profile page only
We made this update to provide additional context and background for each seller.
I recommend this for EVERYBODY
Start fresh. You can create a new Seller Forums account with a new display name. This means your previous posts will remain associated to your old Forums Account and previous display name and not with your new profile. Youβll start the new Forums without any post history or statisticsβand your old display name canβt be used by any other Forums members.
Then if you choose to post you do.
Great. It is almost like no one at Amazon knows anything about forums and why certain data is not offered on every forum that I have ever been on.
Itβs almost like they have no knowledge of how people on the internet work and how easy it is to target sellers when you are a seller. I have read eight years of the damage sellers can do to other sellers and exposing our account to that is simple unacceptable.
And the Mods and those that they report to have chosen to listen to the forums⦠Wait, what forums? It certainly was not this one. Nowhere have I seen a thread where a majority of sellers supported exposing their accounts to malicious attacks.

I will post to bump.
This is important and will be upon as all whether we are ready or not.
@Oneida, thank you for all the posts youβve made warning the rest of this about this egregious NSFE.
Is it your understanding that those of us not yet on the NSFE will be notified when this happens to us, or is about to happen, so that we can choose what to do? Iβm afraid that I will suddenly be switched and my information instantly exposed for all to see.
I would like to have my Forums account completely deleted, however, the only reason I havenβt asked for that to be done is that I am in contact with a couple of mods who supposedly are helping me with a couple of cases. If my Forums account were completely deleted, Iβm not sure they would be able to send me messages, or might at least give up trying.
How would a user go about deleting their Forums account, anyway? Thank you for any advice youβre willing to give.
My forum name is my real business name. If you search us, you will find our website, our address, even a photo of me talking to the UPS driver on google street view. If you show up, bring a good Jeep part question. Extra points if you bring (good) german beer.
Ive been thinking. Maybe, this is another small push by amazon to get rid of the dropshippers? If you got skin in the game of your business (more than a credit card and FBA account), you arenβt always hidden. A post office box costs little.
Mods/Management seeing these threads
Only thing that I think I would like to have from the NSFE (though I think itβs a terrible idea and Iβm happy that this version of the forums didnβt have it) would be the button.
I would have, respectfully, pressed the of it during all these CM explanationsβ¦
And when a search turns up a former post of mine, it will have βno usernameβ displayed? I will not be transitioning.
So far the halfassed answer that has been given is that our current posting history will remain, but if we choose to start fresh, then the current forum names will be βlockedβ and the posting history will be available and (allegedly) unattached to our storefronts. Just our old names.
Again, if you choose to onboard to the new experience, you can choose to migrate and start fresh and your business name wonβt be attached to any of your past posts.
It bears saying that mods in the new forums see the old names that many of us had. So for instance theyβd see βTallyTonyβ for me, not my preferred βineptitude_won_nsfeβ. So in short, I donβt trust the current promise of how the current posting history will be preserved in anonymity.
