Dear Amazon Mods,
Do you shadow ban certain forum users Posts? If so, for what reasons? And would you inform the user if you did? Lastly, if a shadow ban takes place, is there any oversight so that such abilities aren't misused?
Not a chance, I certainly speak my mind around here and I am exceptionally critical and outspoken about Amazon. I know my posts are seen, I get the comments and likes/dislikes.
They do however ignore my tags. Sometimes I want to help someone that really, REALLY needs mod intervention, but I don't tag them, because they seem to read my posts all the time and reply to random posters, but NEVER when I tag mods...
Mods like @SEAmod keep thanking me constantly for helping another seller , but NEVER EVER care about those sellers enough to respond to my rare tags.
Hello @Seller_WsdULSSIajCRd
Thank you for the inquiry into the practices on the forums. I understand you are looking for more information regarding if our team does a 'shadow ban' for individuals on the platform. We expect everyone to follow the community guidelines when participating on the forums.
If we identify any kind of violation or observe repeated violation of these guidelines, then our team will take action to remove the ability to post. This is not done lightly and only comes after clear violations.
I see that you are posting in the account health category with a tag for a deactivated account. Is your account currently being impacted as of now? If so, we encourage you to provide the performance notification or case details regarding this so that our team may continue to support.
Best,
Atlas
