Read onlyAmazon the SSA\AHT & OTDR process is broken and needs to be fixed ASAP!
We have our order cutoff at 10AM (I am assuming local time CDT)
However, unless we set the ship date as the same as the calendar date as the order was received PDT, then it is late risk.
This is a $35 item that includes shipping:
The order was received at 11:12PM CDT and would have confirmed around 11:45PM CDT.
Here are our only options to ship a $35 item:
How in the heck are we supposed to ship this order on time and not lose money? Here I am the NEXT morning less than 12 hours from when the order came in and that STILL wasn't fast enough to avoid the late risk using the intended shipping method!
So, I can cancel it and take a defect, lose money or risk a late shipping defect? Amazon Mods please chime in, what is the proper way to fulfill this order?

Amazon expects you to eat the cost to ship the item with a faster service to "delight" their customer. This is done on purpose because Amazon makes more money when you buy more expensive labels from them. We have had this same exact issue (buyer also in Hawaii) to where literal minutes after the order was placed, I only had the option for a $30 shipping label on an $11 item. We bought the label off Amazon for $4 and shipped it. We lost any "buy shipping protection" but the "buy shipping protection" is basically just blackmail so Amazon makes more money. Nobody is going to lose money just to "delight" an ungrateful Amazon customer that thinks they need a "trinket" in 2 days.
Would love some guidance Amazon:

Hello @Seller_CVFHhedDuSeYu @Seller_nc30TW7kE3TMX and other sellers reporting Buy Shipping issues:
Amazon recently adjusted USPS transit times. This included longer delivery times for USPS Ground Advantage shipments, which have been called out by sellers in this and related threads.
If you manage your own handling/transit times, keep in mind that transit times were adjusted to account for packages taking longer to deliver, and check that your settings to account for this.
For sellers using Shipping Settings Automation: I have shared reports with our partner team of SSA-calculated services not being protected in Buy Shipping. Please check your more recent orders and those over the next few days and let me know if you continue to see USPS GA (or other services?) showing as unprotected.
In the meantime, I have raised this issue to our partner team. If you receive an order where the shipping service used to set the delivery promise does not show as protected, you have the option to use that service although it will not be Claims/OTDR Protected. If you do use an unprotected service and experience issues, you can raise the issue to support and to the forums, and I can attempt to escalate the appeal request.

Amazon seems to be overestimating how long ground advantage will take. While I understand it's not meant to be a fast service, I have a order to Florida that supposedly will take 4 days to arrive if I ship from my warehouse in Florida.
