ZERO out of 462 listings active

Just returned from vacation looking to start the new year off on a positive note.

Changed my listing status from "inactive" to "active", and not a single one of my listings has activated.

Is anyone else having the same problem when returning from vacation?

Hi @Seller_KMpODScB4SGqO,

Welcome back from vacation! According to the help documentation (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G200135620), your listings should reappear within one hour after changing from "Inactive" to "Active" status.

If your listings haven't reactivated, here are a few things to check:

1. Verify your Vacation Settings:

  • Go to Settings > Account Info
  • Look for "Store Status" and click "Vacation Settings"
  • Make sure "Active" is selected and you've clicked "Save"

2. If listings still don't appear after an hour, you can try reactivating them through Manage Inventory (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/help/hub/reference/G201633930):

  • Select all your listings
  • Use the Status dropdown menu to set them to "Active"

If these steps don't resolve the issue, it would be worth contacting Seller Support.

Welcome back and hope you can get back to selling soon!

Best regards, Michael

The algorithm punishes vacations. It sees it as volatile inventory. It will take weeks to get back moving again completely.

One caveat (besides the fact that changing every single listing is a major hassle), is that I have yet to have a single purchase on any of the items that I've 'successfully' gotten to show up to potential buyers - so I'm not at all sure that this 'trick' is even working..

I switched to "vacation mode" once, back in 2016. It killed my sales forever. I had an average of 20 orders, Dropped to like 5/day. Was great money on holidays, etc. After that it was all gone too. So, there is no way that I ever going to switch my store to vacation mode. Way too risky. Not that I could lose that much, as my store is dying anyway. Zero sale yesterday. zero sale today. :-(

Going on Vacation & Coming Back used to be a trick to "Spike" Sales...But Its Risky if Servers Don't Activate your listings Fast...

Give it a few hours or a day to Come Back on...

I should have stated in my original post that all my listings show "active" in my inventory - the problem is that none of them are actually shown on the Amazon item page itself. and therefore cannot be purchased.

I've found that if I edit and save a listing in my inventory, then that item will show up as available for purchase on the Amazon page for that item.

Another seller said he has had success by just changing the price of the items he has listed. I've tried that technique - but for me it has been 'hit and miss' as far as successfully getting my product to show up after only changing the price.

One caveat (besides the fact that changing every single listing is a major hassle), is that I have yet to have a single purchase on any of the items that I've 'successfully' gotten to show up to potential buyers - so I'm not at all sure that this 'trick' is even working...
