Ever wonder how you can encourage buyers to buy an accessory along with the main item. Well look no further than using Product Bundling. The marketing strategy of using Product Bundling allows seller to offer multiple products together and they are sold as a single package. This approach may offer various benefits, see below:
What is a bundle:
Bundles are composed of different products to create a new bundled product of items that your customer may already be looking for separately. Well-designed product bundles provide convenience and value to buyers, which will improve your customers shopping experience.
Why you should consider bundling:
The marketing strategy of using Product Bundling allows seller to offer multiple products together and they are sold as a single package. This creates a one stop shop for your customers, instead of finding other products that they may want or need to use with your main product.
Bundle benefits can lead to:
Increase Sales Volume
* Bundling can encourage buyers to purchase more items than they initially intended, increasing overall sales volume
Perceived Value
* Buyers perceive bundled products as having a greater value, especially if the bundle price is lower than the sum of the individual prices
Inventory Management
* Bundling can help sell products that may not be moving as quickly on their own
Cross-Selling Opportunities
* Bundled products can introduce buyers to additional products they may have not considered buying
Simplified Shopping Experience
* Bundles can make the purchasing process easier for buyers to reduce the number of decisions they need to make
Enhance Buyer Loyalty
* Offering bundles can create a positive buyer experience, encouraging repeat purchases
Bundling policies:
You will want to ensure that you are following the Product Bundling Policies when creating your bundles. This includes, but it not limited to ensuring your product follows the ASIN creation policy and the Detail Page Rules policy.
Ensure that your bundles are:
- In the correct category
-Titles are listed correctly for bundles and the category specific title requirements for your products category.
-Images are compliant
-You agree to the warranty and returns
Please note:
You cannot bundle another brands products using your UPC and your brand. You need to get a Letter of Authorization (LOA) from the brands you are bundling to use your UPC and you must use their brand when creating the bundle, unless they give you direct approval from the brand to use your brand name on the bundle. Once you have the LOA, you will need to create a case to Seller Support who will then submit a request for approval for you to create your listings with your UPC and the other brand.
Per the Detail Page Rules policy: Sellers should not list non-standard multi-packs that are not offered by the brand owner. For example, if the brand sells a single pack of gum, you cannot create a multi-pack or bundle of 4 of this product and use your UPC. It has to be offered by the brand with their UPC.
The last item that I purchased in a bundle was a bike and helmet. Sellers, share what has been your buyers’ favorite bundled item to purchase.
