I'm trying to bundle a "main" product along with with "any 2 of 5 variations" of a complementary product.
So if I was selling carbonated water, I might also sell flavor packets to add to the water, and carry 5 flavors of those. I'd want to make a bundle with the carbonated water so that the user could buy the seltzer water and pick any 2 flavors of the 5 available, and provide a special bundled price. That's the kind of thing I'm trying to do.
I can't see how to do that, though.
I was going to make virtual bundles, but with 20 possible combinations of of the complimentary product, it seems like that would create 20 copies of my listing that are identical except for the bundled complimentary products.
Anyone know how this should work?
That is exactly how it's done. You'll have many possible combinations. And please note that with a virtual bundle you're still going to pay a regular FBA fee on each of those flavor packets. This could make the whole bundle unprofitable.
Hi @DeluxeProducts,
Thanks for the post and hope you had a good weekend.
You may choose any ASIN in your bundle to be its main component. The main component helps determine the search and browse categorization of the bundle. A bundle ASIN inherits search keywords from its main component ASIN.
Once a bundle is created, the main component cannot be changed. If you need to do so, delete your bundle and re-create it. Use a different SKU or make sure to wait 24 hours before reusing the same SKU.
