Read onlyWe've noticed that for some users, the popover panel opened when using the "See All Buying Options" has a layout issue where the "Add to Cart" button is placed far off to the right, requiring horizontal scrolling to be visible. Users by and large do not try scrolling horizontally; instead, they'll assume the product cannot be purchased and move on to another product.
The issue seems to be related to the length of the item description, as in some cases the text doesn't wrap onto multiple lines. Oddly, for other users (or when not logged in), the text wraps normally so there is no horizontal scrolling even possible in the panel. It's inconsistent.
Tried opening a support case, provided screenshots and a video of the broken layout, and predictably they just replied talking about how to obtain the Featured Offer, missing the entire point. We pushed back, re-iterating the actual issue with the popover panel, and the response was essentially "we've already answered this according to our policies" and the ticket was closed.
Is there a path to making the Amazon technical team aware of issues with broken user interfaces? We'd think they'd want to know.
Hi there @Seller_YnwKGJ8DW690X,
I'm sorry you are having some issues with how the detail page is displaying. Please share your most recent Case ID so I can review and attempt to replicate this issue and try to see what options exist. Thank you for your understanding.
