Read onlyCustomer purchaed a $1800 monitor yesterday and I created the $80 shipping label to drop off and fullfil the order tomorrow; now the customer says "GF bought one for me. Don't need this one" since the items already considered shipped is there a way to cancel this order and refund the label? or will I be forced to ship the item > pay for the return label > then charge the customer something like a restocking fee to recoup my costs?
Hello! @Seller_nRSoLeLZ1CSJf
Thank you for using the Forums, I am sorry for the delay on getting back to you on this issue. I am wondering how you ended up handling this ?
Usually the process to follow if the order is already shipped and the label generated, you should communicate with the buyer and let them know the order cannot longer be cancelled and ask them to return it for a refund or refuse the delivery, so the package can be sent to the original sender.
I've also seen instances from sellers asking the carrier to return the package.
For more information, go to "Order cancellations".
