Read onlyHello,
I sell on both Etsy and Amazon, offering free economy shipping on all of my FBM listings. My handling time is 1 day, and I use USPS Ground Advantage with a flat rate, which has a delivery window of 2-5 days.
However, Amazon is showing incorrect delivery estimates on my product pages. For example, today (Dec. 11, 2024), my listings are showing free delivery between Dec. 24-27, which is far beyond the actual shipping timeframe of 2-5 days. When I fulfill customer orders, Amazon correctly calculates the delivery window based on my 1-day handling time. For instance, one customer placed an order on Dec. 9, and Amazon calculated the delivery window as Dec. 13-17, which matches my actual handling and shipping process.
This discrepancy between the product page's estimated delivery and the actual fulfillment is causing significant issues. I am losing sales and harming my business due to this complication, as potential customers are seeing unrealistic delivery times.
I’ve already created a case about this issue on Dec. 1, but the case is still pending and unresolved. A few associates have also contacted me about this, but none of them have been able to solve the problem.
What should I do to resolve this issue? Has anyone else experienced this problem, and if so, how did you handle it?
Thank you for your help!
The issue has to do with the "promise extensions" Amazon is adding.
See this thread: SSA – Still extends delivery promise with perfect OTDR?
Unfortunately, there is nothing you can do. It's working exactly how Amazon designed it to work, as stated by the CM's responses in that thread.
