Trump's Executive Order December 24th Federal Holiday
So, I just read that President signed an Executive Order making December 24th a holiday for federal employees. I cannot find anything indicating if the USPS will recognize that holiday. Certainly, one would think not at Christmas, but…Has anyone heard anything about USPS?

This is an update on carrier shipping changes that will be in effect from December 24th to December 31st.
Due to carrier pick-up and delivery restrictions, please find below the changes to your expected shipping days.
a) Monday, December 24th will be a shipping holiday. Shipments that would normally have an expected ship date of December 24th 2018 will now have an expected ship date of December 26th 2018 (due to the December 25th 2018 carrier holiday).
b) Monday, December 31st will be a shipping and delivery holiday. Shipments that would normally have an expected ship date of Dec 31st 2018 will now have an expected ship date of January 2nd 2019 (due to the January 1st 2019 carrier holiday). Additionally shipments with an expected delivery date of December 31st will now have a delivery date of January 2nd 2019 (due to the January 1st 2019 carrier holiday).

I was at the actual post office today — I asked and yes they are open for business on the 24th, and are delivering mail …
also…, many last-minute mailers paying for express delivery— they’re were – lot of folks that obviously hadn’t been to the -post office in a long time maybe didn’t know how it work that I slows things down,. but the clerk’s sped through and the wait wasn’t that long…
I had to check my PO Box anyways…
And hit a small specialty grocery store too…
