Holiday January 9, 2025 President Carter funreal federal hoiday
Is anyone else having issue with shipping time saying to ship on 1/9/25 even though everything is closed for president carter funeral?

yup same here, I'll print and pack everything on the 9th and send it on the 10th...not paying more for $ shipping with UPS or others...if I get dinged in account health I'll argue with Amazon after the fact, just as if we had a blizzard etc...

Amazon did contact sellers, but it went into my spam messages and that was sent 2 days ago even though the federal holiday was announced December 30th.... Why was this not specified somewhere in seller central, and why was a notice not sent out sooner?
I had printed a fedex label and was going to drop off to fedex today, worried about my metrics. After I printed the fedex label, I saw the notice and did not want to risk driving far away in stormy, dangerous weather just to avoid a ding. YES, I would have dropped it off had I been forced. This is the stress we deal with mentally. I did request a refund on the fedex label for the shipment set to ship on the 9th (today) and re-purchased a USPS priority label and will drop off the shipment to USPS tomorrow.
Can someone (a mod from amazon) kindly confirm this won't affect my metrics? I am believing what the email said below, but I am nervous to say the least.
