Amazon has taken my money without investigation

Hello,

3 month ago Amazon started an investigation and then my account was deactivated. I did not break any rules and when I called support they said that my supplier refused to provide required documentation when Amazon contacted them about my case. I could not expect that because Amazon accepted their invoices and I was absolutely sure that my supplier is an official distributor of thir products. You can see their invoices accepted in these 2 cases: (14655643781, 14165895401).

It was not my fault but I understand why my account was deactivated. But now when I requested my money back Amazon has sent me this message:

"After completing our investigation and reviewing the information you provided, we have determined that your Amazon seller account has been used to engage in deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity that harms our customers, other selling partners, and our store.

What happens now?

The funds in your account will not be disbursed to you. This is a final decision made after reviewing the information you provided."

They did not even do an interview with me to complete their investigation. I did not break any rules and I can provide any required documentation. This is very unfair, because I earned this money by working on this platform and I am absolutely sure that they belong to me. I request an assistance to continue this investigatin so I could at least have my money back. Thank you in advance.

Greetings @Seller_6eDD0Jw5f3aw6,

Nikki here to help you with funds.

I'm so sorry for the delay in responding to your post here at the Seller Forums but I'll do my best to help you. Our team of moderators is constantly working to address all inquiries as soon as we can.

“my supplier refused to provide required documentation when Amazon contacted them about my case”

According to the Responsible Sourcing documentation request requirements, the copies of invoices, receipts or other similar documents must demonstrate where your products are produced or manufactured and should include contact information for the supplier(s) and the original manufacturer. Amazon may contact suppliers or manufacturers to verify the documents and when information about the origin of your products is not successfully acquired, your documentation becomes invalid.

When Amazon cannot verify information during the video call, and the investigation concludes that reactivation is not possible due to suspected deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, it means the investigation is complete and only new documents will be reviewed from now on.

If you believe your account was deactivated in error, you have the option to submit a new appeal. When doing so, please avoid sending any previously rejected documents, as these will most likely be denied. Ensure that your new appeal includes fresh and accurate information to support your case.

"I understand why my account was deactivated. But now when I requested my money back Amazon has sent me this message:

"After completing our investigation and reviewing the information you provided, we have determined that your Amazon seller account has been used to engage in deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity that harms our customers, other selling partners, and our store."

According to the Funds withholding policy, If Amazon finds that you have engaged in deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity, have abused our systems, or repeatedly violated policies that protect customers and sellers, Amazon may withhold some or all funds in your account. Examples of deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activities include, but are not limited to: falsifying or misrepresenting your identity, violating Amazon’s anti-counterfeit policy, or submitting forged documents to Amazon.

Please visit the pages Amazon Services Business Solutions Agreement and Selling policies and seller code of conduct for more information.

Wish you all the best,

Nikki
