I am very new to Amzon seller central and thought about selling some generic items. I have mostly dealt with ebay but sales were so low I could not afford expenses. I have had no sales here on Amazon for weeks so decided to run some campaigns.

My question to all sellers :

Do we really need to run campagins to get sales or does it work like ebay where you can set percentage and ads still come up.

If I am selling differnet colours of products do I have to run ads group and add all colours to campaigns

By now I am spending more on ads then even getting sales.

Please can someone guide.

I'm pretty sure my competitors are clicking my ads because no matter how high I place my daily range, right now it's at $50 daily, my ads run out really early in the morning and no matter how much I raise it's out of budget within a few hours. Makes running the ads not worth it and way too expensive. The sales are minimum as well. Are their others who running into this issue?
