When I look at an Amazon detail page, a "Rufus" box is turning up. It contains AI-produced questions relevant to buyers, but not to sellers. I want to find some way to eliminatre these Rufus boxes.

I've opened case 16744082761 but wanted to publicly add to the discussion about "Rufus" the AI aka Always Idiotic. This isn't the first thread about this problem but I don't see any resolution coming from Amazon.

The AI is giving false and defamatory information about products. It is also raising "features" that are not part of product details that Amazon even asks for, and thus a seller cannot even include on product detail pages.

For example, Rufus is raising the question about whether a refrigerator magnet leaves residue when removed. I've never seen one that does. I've never seen a decorative magnet sales page even raise the issue. For obvious reasons it is not even a product detail Amazon asks for when listing a decorative magnet - so it is not something any seller is addressing.

Yet, there is the AI raising the question and implying there might be something wrong with a product because a seller does not say whether their magnet leaves residue.

Seems like a simple guardrail that AI should not be raising product "features" that are not part of product details sellers are asked to provide.

The flip side is why aren't sellers being told what the AI is inquiring about so they can address such issues if needed?

The AI summary of reviews for ASIN B093B5VLNQ is inaccurate and misleading. It says “The bottle's leak resistance is a concern, with multiple customers reporting it leaks like a sieve.” This is not true. Only one review reports it “leaks like a sieve” not multiple customers. Rufus took one bad review, misleading attributed it to "multiple customers," and amplified a single bad review, presenting an inaccurate summary of reviews of our product.

This AI summary inaccuracy lowers our conversation rates and damages our business.
