We have hundreds of items that are accessories for radio products.
They keep getting identified as radio frequency (RF) devices but these are either metal or plastic items that are mounts or connectors or passive cables and antennas. These items are not radio items that need FCC IDs to be legally sold.
We have submitted appeal after appeal and so many of them are getting denied. Our appeals are not getting read properly. They are ignored and we get a response telling us to fill in the FCC ID. The whole appeal is around that fact that the assumption is wrong that the items are RF devices so we cannot fill in FCC IDs that do not exist. Responding to the case with extra clarification does not help either. The response from Amazon is exactly the same. Even our 2nd attempt in the case to convey the meaning that the items are not RF Devices is ignored.
The logic around this whole process should be examined more closely.
These listings are being deactivated for no reason.
@Manny_Amazon, I see that you have familiarity with this issue and can help with elevating the cases to someone that will look closely at the appeal. Can you help please?
Thank you!
Hello @Seller_Bou9cddu8Fayy,
Thanks for posting to the Forums. To prevent abuse, I am not able to get any information from the team regarding this enforcement. Please refer to the latest update in case 16305023791, which advises you on the steps you can take to edit the "fcc_radio_frequency_emission_compliance" attribute on your ASINs, via an an inventory file upload.
Regards,
- Manny
