Brand name missing from product titles

Brand name isn't showing up on my product listings in my title, even though my brand name is always listed first. Please assist. All of my listings are "REMTUNE Brand..." and when you find an item I sell the first word shown is BRAND instead of my brand name. I have had no help from amazon. They copy and pasted a reply telling me to delete every listing I have and remake them/ Makes no sense. I am brand registered as well

Why would it make any sense to go through the trouble of getting brand registered and trademarked to not have my brand name show up in my product titles?

They said:

"I would like to inform you that we are currently experimenting a new feature where select brands name will get removed from the title on Detail Page"

It's based on how long the title is. If your brand name + the text of your title are more than 200 characters, then the brand name wont be added to the title. If they both are under 200 characters together, then the brand name will be added to the title.

Its been going on for a long time! I noticed it last year and found the same info you got in a seller forum thread: that they removed certain unknown brand names to make it easier for shoppers to shop haha....I did the A/B thing where they publish both title versions you want to try to at least get my brand in there 50% of the time and after multiple ones I was able to get it published as the "winning version" since it clearly sold better. Good Luck!

Amazon no longer cares about listing details, I have reported violations for using fake UPC codes for several listings, but they have never dealt with any violations. Even though using fake UPC codes is prohibited according to Amazon policies, Amazon does not take any action on this issue. They support policy violation.

Amazon has been removing brand names from titles to test conversion rates. I had the same thing happen to my brand and was unable to get out of the pilot testing they are conducting...

It's an experiment of Amazon that they want to remove the brand names, especially on small sellers (giving the bigger ones another edge)

We are having the same issue here.

I have gone back and fourth on our case, we have stated that "we will like to opt out of this experiment" and after the 3rd respond from seller support they asked from a list of ASINs to be removed from this experiment, but when I submitted the next response it was the same copy and paste response.

Hi @Seller_XbpZ9KI6Xc8yr! I have a couple questions for you in order to deep dive this

  1. I see you mentioned this is an issue for all of your ASINs. Can you provide a couple example ASINs for the team to use in their investigation? If you do not feel comfortable sharing this to the forums, let me know the last four digits or I can open a direct case with you.
  2. Is the brand name available in the ASIN detail page or search page or both? Screenshots may be helpful if you have them.

Thank you!
