Read onlyHello,
I recently received a false IP complaint from a brand owner. After providing proof of the authenticity of my products, Amazon reinstated my listing and removed the violation from my account.
I would like to know if I continue selling on this ASIN, could the brand owner potentially file another false IP claim against me?
I would greatly appreciate your guidance on this matter.
Thank you!
Hello @Seller_Y8waiXesE7rGy

Thank you for the information regarding the recent intellectual property concerns that you encountered with one of your listings. I understand it has caused some confusion over whether or not you can sell the product on the platform. I do want to provide some insight for you on how our team views matters of intellectual property.
Every seller is required to ensure that they have all the necessary documents for selling a specific product on the platform. If you decide that you would like to list another brand's products, then we would advise on ensuring you have valid invoices and an agreement directly with the brand stating you can sell on the platform.
Without an official agreement, you will run the risk of the brand being able to report your listings for infringement of their IP. Due to the laws surrounding this, our team would be obligated to take action and request more information from you. This process can disrupt your ability to sell that product, and potentially on your account as a whole.
We would recommend avoiding listing any products that you do not have the necessary documents for to prevent any issues. If you have additional questions, please continue to refer to this thread for support.
Best,
Atlas
