Incorrect Date First Available Affect Honeymoon or New Best seller?
Hello, I noticed my newly release product shows a "Date First Available" of 6 months earlier when I made the listing for the barcode. I'm afraid this will cut on the time I have on my honeymoon period AND being able to get the New Best Seller Badge/page. I contacted Amazon but they couldn't help me do the update, and no matter where I looked there was no attribute on seller central to change that (even changing Merchant release date, did not work).
Anyone else been through the same?

Greetings @Seller_INY14KI8D8A90,
Thank you for reaching out with your question. The "Date First Available" attribute is not an attribute that can be changed as it is set when the ASIN is first created. This is the actual date the ASIN was added to the catalog. However eligibility for the New release badge is based on the "merchant_release_date" set by you. As long as the product did not sell before the Merchant Release Date, it may still be eligible. Please note however Amazon does not share any details on why or why not a product gets a badge. You can learn more on the Sales Rank FAQ help page. Thank you for your understanding.
