More work for the Handmade seller, more clicks to get to a blank form to fill out and you have to beg for a gtin exemption on each new listing.
Thanks Amazon Handmade.
Lets get on with it! Wish it would roll out today! Christmas is just around the corner. I hope this solves the issues we have all been having. Thank you for the update.

CHECK THE BUSINESS REPORT!
The sooner the better!! I would like to get back to my stats from Quarter 1, 2023.
@priscilla_amazonI wondered though if you could provide more information on one of the last paragraphs of the announcement:
"Some products may require approval
You may now be required to obtain approval before listing products in certain product types. Learn about products that may require approval before listing here."
The included link does not provide any further information on this issue - is there a list of product types that will need approval? Also, will this approval apply to existing products or just new products? Will there be any kind of grandfathering for product types that we have been selling for years?
Thanks for any additional insights!
Is this not implemented yet? The email seems to to sound like I can already use the new listing feature
"To see the new listing experience, you will need to navigate away from the current listing process. To do this, you will simply need to click on “Change categories” and from there, select “blank form.”
I did this, and right away I can see several things are missing. There was no where to designate that an item was Handmade.
It also wanted me to fill out things like manufacture, model numbers, and all sorts of information that was not applicable to my listing. Like what!
and most important:
NO PRODUCTION TIME FIELD. This is so necessary for handmade sellers.
Is this still in beta? Is production times being eliminated? There was no way for me to complete a listing using the new form. This is SCARY SCARY SCARY especially that you want to introduce this in Q4 right before the holidays.
You've already shown you are failing at implementing category changes in the past.
Honestly, just tell us you want to close Handmade and get it over with already. Trying to figure out how to migrate us all over to regular Amazon with all the hoops we have to jump through doesn't seem to be working.
@priscilla_amazon Is this live or not? I tried as the others here to make a new listing and it says: 'externally_assigned_product_identifier' is required but not supplied.

I am assuming this is because it has not rolled out yet? Can you please confirm if we can start listing or if its not ready at this point?
When I hit the apply now button it sends me to a page that says Your selling application is approved
AND PS: I just made a test listing for my lampwork beads something I never sell on amazon because I thought there was not category and it let me list those just fine without having a GTIN exemption? I am clueless on what is going on, but I am hopeful this is about to be rolled out!
