Does "Sessions - Total" include sessions generated from PPC campaigns?

The Business Reports data (https://sellercentral.amazon.com/business-reports/) contains a column called "Sessions - Total". Does the "Sessions - Total" include sessions generated from PPC campaigns? In other words. If a customer clicks a Sponsored Products advertisement and lands on the Product Detail Page of the ASIN, does this count as a "Session"?

I've read conflicting accounts about this. I would like some clarification.

Yes a session is any detail page visit in a 24 hour period.

"Sessions are visits to your Amazon.com pages by a user. All activity within a 24-hour period is considered a session"
