Account deactivated due to DAC7

Hello Amazon I need help, how to activate my account again, it’s deactivated due to DAC7 and requested for VAT, but once I have submitted the requested documents but they refuse my VAT number, and there is no option to make contact with amazon help center,

It will be your kindness to share an email or phone number to make a contact with seller central.

You are not talking to Amazon here, this is the seller forum. There is no number to call seller support, if you wish you can contact seller support by creating a case under "Help".

Are you an European seller or do you sell in Europe? If yes, you have to request a VAT number of each European country you sell in.

As you have mentioned, I understand that your account is deactivated due to the DAC7. Per ourDirective on Administrative Cooperation – 7th Amendment (DAC7) policy, all sellers must comply with DAC7 and amazon must perform the following actions:

  • Collect additional information such as tax identification numbers (TINs), company registration numbers, and permanent establishments, from affected sellers.
  • Verify the information, including verification against the respective authorities’ databases.
  • Report sellers’ data along with details on the consideration earned, the fees charged to them, and banking details.

If the necessary information is not provided on time, Amazon is obliged to deactivate non-compliant accounts until this information is submitted and verified.

Does the supporting documents have the correct VAT number on it? You want to make sure that your VAT number matches the number in your seller central.

Have you received a performance notification or a case log pertaining information on why your VAT number has been refused?
