I am writing to inform you that we lost our Buy Box status and it has not been restored. Instead of receiving a pack of six, our customers received a single item. This issue caused considerable dissatisfaction, and we immediately addressed it by issuing refunds to our customers. To ensure this does not happen again, we have taken preventive measures.
However, despite resolving the issue, our customers left negative reviews, which is unfair. As a result, our Buy Box status was revoked and has not been reinstated. We kindly request that the authorities review this situation. We have taken the necessary steps for our customers, but it is unjust that they left negative reviews even though the issue was resolved.

While you acted correctly by issuing refunds and addressing the issue, customers are entitled to their opinions, which they have shared through their feedback. Amazon is unlikely to remove these reviews, but it doesn't hurt to try appealing.
Negative feedback does affect your Order Defect Rate (ODR), which in turn impacts Buy Box ownership. The good news is that the impact is temporary, lasting only for 60 days.
In the meantime, you can take proactive steps to improve your sales. eg: competitive pricing, faster shipping. Conscious buyers look for such benefits.
While losing the Buy Box is a setback, implementing these strategies can help you maintain sales momentum and improve your chances of regaining the Buy Box status sooner.
