Read onlyBack in July, we received an IP complaint about a product we were selling so we acknowledged the complaint and removed the listing and have not sold since then. In September our account was deactivated for the same product that we removed in July because another department at Amazon saw the old listing and deactivated it again. We have gone round and round with Amazon because we don't have this item listed, haven't had it listed since July when it was removed and are not selling it. I have provided invoices, confirmation emails from the mfg that we purchased the product from as well as my credit card statement showing the charges. I still cannot get our account activated again and it's been 2 months now going back and forth for a product that was removed in July and hasn't been listed or sold since then. Can you please help???
It may not help you now but I may have the reason why you were hit with a violation months after you deleted your listing.
Assuming you deleted it through your Manage Inventory dashboard only, which removes only your offering, here is the proper way to delete the SKU:
Delete SKUs Using Inventory Loader
You can find and download the Inventory Loader here: Choose a file template Scroll to the heading Choose a file template, download the Inventory Loader, and follow the instructions to delete your SKU.
Without knowing what Amazon told you in the deactivation notice, you can at least try deleting it with the upload, perhaps wait 24-72 hours, then appeal again.
Or post the notice and maybe other suggestions can be offered.
If you're able to get your account back, remember to delete items the proper way going forward.
