Read onlyDear Amazon Seller Support Team,
I am writing to formally report a fraudulent seller who has been hijacking my listings and causing significant harm to my business. The seller, A & K Enterprises1, is offering counterfeit products on my listing at an impossibly low price, which has resulted in a substantial loss of sales for me.
Upon investigating this seller, I found numerous customer reviews that highlight their practice of sending fake products, with a staggering 76% of their reviews being negative. This clearly indicates a pattern of fraud that not only affects my business but also undermines customer trust in Amazon as a reliable platform.
I suspect that this seller is targeting me personally, as I know them, and their actions seem to be driven by malice. This situation is damaging my reputation and eroding customer confidence.
I have attached all relevant proof of their fraudulent activities, including screenshots of customer reviews and links to my product listings.
I kindly request that you take immediate action against A & K Enterprises1 to protect my business and maintain the integrity of the Amazon marketplace. If this issue is not addressed, it could result in further distrust from customers..
I have raised a case few days back but still nothing happened!
Hey there @Seller_Gyk2yogzMmx9U,
Thanks for the thread,
Have you reached out to Seller Support? As this is the Seller Forums.
If you have a Trademark, and have registered in Amazon Brand Registry then it will be very easy to have the mapper removed. You can report a violation in your Brand Registry account and the unauthorised seller's offer will be removed in next few days.
It takes years to get trademark approved to legally stop someone from using your name to sell. I am guessing your trademark is still in pending state so there is nothing u can do really. You should apply for 10-20 trademarks, whichever gets approved fastest (1-2 years), use it for selling your product with protection.
Unfortunately neither govt nor anything else in the world can help you legally establishing the case. Almost every seller suffers from this issue in ecommerce and u will too and there is no alternative till govt makes changes in laws to being pending trademark also under protection.
If another seller has mapped their listings to yours and is sending fake products to customers, the best way to address this, especially without brand registry or a trademark, is to focus on securing the Buy Box. Price your product slightly lower than the other seller to increase your chances of winning the Buy Box. This way, customers will see your legitimate listing on the product detail page, helping to differentiate your product from the counterfeit offerings. Additionally, consider reporting the issue to Amazon to address the fake products being sold.
This kind of issue has only one solution amazon need to change their worst policy of mapping by updating it as below:
brand owner (who created listing using brand name) will authorize who can use their brand name and who can map listing because Brand has Trademark. amazon allow brand registered brand mapping without its permission and amazon is not gating brand even though many requests and they are ask us to report and do test buy when our listing is mapped its not good solution for seller brand. Best is ask brand owner before mapping because Brand is registered and Brand has trademark and They only Know what item need to sell here from this listing. Other sellers are just map listing and sell anything using mapped listing and brand gets negative review and brand is defaming. Same issue is facing all sellers but amazon is very bad in resolving this kind of worst policy issues.
Hey there @Seller_Gyk2yogzMmx9U,
Any updates on this? Or are you still waiting for a response?
