(The SKU does not match any ASIN and contains an invalid value(s) for attributes required for the creation of a new ASIN.)

I am attempting to create a new listing with a new product and receive this error:

(The SKU does not match any ASIN and contains an invalid value(s) for attributes required for the creation of a new ASIN.)

I purchased my GTIN UPCs directly from GS1 last week. I have been patiently waiting for them to validate on the Amazon side however I am still getting this error. All the details match in both systems, brands, etc.…

How can I get past this error to move forward? I opened a support case and submitted GS1 certificates, but they say we were unable to validate the Product ID. Very frustrating.

Any ideas?

How you can know that? Others say that Amazon needs two weeks to synchronize with GS1.

I have been struggling with Seller Support on the same issue for several weeks with GTINs purchased more than a month ago. I have submitted numerous cases, all closed out. I have provided screenshots of the error when trying to add a product, screenshots of the GTINs in my GS1 datahub, and PDFs of all the GTIN certificates. The only answer I have received from Seller Support is to "try uploading a spreadsheet." I get the same error no matter how I try to add new products.

You may be looking at the wrong value. The "External Product ID" is where you enter the UPC for your product while the "Contribution SKU" is the unique - and arbitrary - identifier you give to the product you're listing. The second half of the notice you received may be indicating that your Contribution SKU includes invalid characters (though I have no idea which characters are valid and which are invalid).

Nothing moves fast. Give GS1 a few weeks to enter the information in their data base, and another few more for Amazon to pick up on it.

TRY THIS.... Type your UPC into the Google browser. What did you get? Nothing or your product? You are getting the exact same information that Amazon is getting when they do the same thing.

Don't bother the Reps on these threads, or the Seller Service Reps. They are not going to do what you could be doing yourself.

Hi,

I faced the same issue. GTINs bought from official GS-1 website but didnt get accepted. Reached out to seller support internal team with screenshots and finally got approved after 10 days.

Try to reach internal team through call or wait for the database to get updated.

Hi @TOLODeals,

Thanks for the post and hope you had a good weekend.

Can you confirm the error code number that appeared.

Thanks in advance.
