Read onlyWe have been selling on Amazon for almost 6 years. We have always had account level reserves, which we factor in. All of sudden, this disbursement period beginning October 22, 2024, all of our order payments are deferred under the "Delivery Date Policy" and the account level reserve has been minimized. We have almost 100% on-time delivery date history and have never in our time selling on Amazon every had this happen with our account. This really doesn't make any sense, as all of our orders are delivered before the first estimated delivery date. And, we use Amazon's shipping services with all orders having a valid USPS or UPS tracking number.
We have tried to talk with seller support to figure out why this has happened to our account and how to fix it with no success.
Any help would be appreciated!
I have noticed this since October 22nd as well for FBM and October 27th for FBA.
If you click on all your deferred transactions, it shows a release date for each and every transaction. Usually 6 days after delivery. Yes, it is lumped into the same spot now as the 30 day invoiced transactions, but you can click on them and see.
It would seem that they are trying to be more transparent on what is held in reserve for orders instead of just lumping it all into account level reserve.
Note the new highlight under the delivery date policy page:
Note: Previously, sales proceeds withheld through Delivery Date-Based Reserves appeared as a lump sum amount "Account-Level Reserves" on your Payments Dashboard. This is now shown as deferred transactions so that you can know exactly which orders are subject to these policies and for how long they will be reserved.
Yes, as with any Amazon update, they don't take into account how it will affect existing systems and processes.
