Read onlyWe used the BIL tool to build a listing for amazon.mx using our US Amazon listing.
We just got a notification that the .mx listing was deactivated for a suspected intellectual property violation, specifically for using the term "iPhone", however, upon checking the listing that term is not visible anywhere that we can find.
After 6 or 7 back-and-forth emails with seller support, they were finally able to tell me the term is present in the Generic Keywords attribute section.
The issue is that the generic keywords section is completely empty so we are unable to remove the term. How can we remove something we are unable to see?
Additionally, the listing was created by the Build International Listing (BIL) tool, we have never edited the listing, so Amazon added that term to it automatically and then removed the listing for something we did not add and we seemingly cannot change.
Seller Support has not been helpful in resolving this. I have asked them to remove the term or give me instructions on how to do it myself but they just reply with a generic copy/paste response that doesn't help me at all.
Does anyone have any insight on how to remove a term from the generic keywords section that is not visible to us?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi there @Seller_BjxLlXdVxvovm,
Thanks for reaching out with your question on updating your listing. In general the best way to do this type of update via an upload. You should be able to delete and replace the listing so the old information is cleared. If you are still having issues please provide your Case ID and I will investigate to see what other options I can offer. Thank you for your understanding.
