List of restricted WORDS for title?

Goodmorning. I am trying to find a list of restricted words for titles. I believe I have read using words such as “Christmas” in the title will suppress a listing. I can not find a link that lists words that may suppress a listing. Does anyone have a list or a link to the list. Thank you in advance.

I too am curious about this. I have heard using deal words like: free, deal, cost, cheap or value may get it suppressed … is that true?

I sell two different kinds of Christmas Ornaments, and have the words “Christmas Ornament” in the title. I haven’t had any problems with those listings being suppressed, though that could be because it says what they are. This is what Amazon’s Moderator said: ASINs violating Amazon title guidelines to be suppressed from search

In addition to the previous replies, Amazon recently started enforcing their Product Title Requirements, which means that any non-media ASIN may be search-suppressed if it violates any of the following criteria:

  1. The title exceeds 200 characters, including spaces.

  2. The title contains promotional phrases, such as “free shipping”, “100% quality guaranteed”.

  3. The title contains characters for decoration, such as ~ ! * $ ? _ ~ { } # < > | * ; ^ ¬ ¦

  4. The title contains no product-identifying information, such as “hiking boots” or “umbrella”.
